The Winchendon Fall Festival is right around the corner and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Winchendon (UUCW) is joining in the fun! The big gray church is situated right in the middle of the action, and the front lawn will be filled with vendors. There will be booths ranging from fine art, jewelry, Halloween decor, craft BBQ sauce, birdhouses and woodenware, silkscreened sports & military themed apparel, hand-turned pens, fresh-baked cookies, farm produce, and even yard sale items!

UUCW is hosting Winchendon Winds, a 40-piece professional concert band (brass, woodwinds, percussion), who will perform in the church sanctuary from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. The family-friendly concert is free and features audience favorites from their summer series.

Usborne Books will be offering free children’s story times by their booth at 10:30 AM and 1:30 p.m. ISKON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) will be doing henna hand painting and free meditation training. Shadowdreams will be doing live sketching demonstrations. The Winchendon Courier will have a informational booth detailing their redesigned website and new management.

UUCW will also be out "on the curb." Dave Faucher, chef for Our Neighbor’s Kitchen, will be selling pulled pork street tacos and handmade apple turnovers. Right next door, there will be a display describing UUCW’s “Set in Stone” capital campaign to undertake badly needed stonework restoration, with a trivia quiz, brochures, and freebies.

All proceeds from the vendor rentals and UUCW food sales will support the church’s Set in Stone fundraising efforts.
