WINCHENDON – Warren H. Laforce, 72, of 16 Ready Drive, died peacefully Tuesday morning, November 26, 2019 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
A lifelong resident of Winchendon, Warren was born on October 30, 1947, son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Luopa) Laforce, and was a graduate of Murdock High School.
Warren worked for over twenty years as a custodian for the Town of Winchendon at Murdock High School until his retirement. He enjoyed watching sports and going to horse races. He also loved food.
He leaves a brother, Gary A. Laforce and his wife Jill of Vernon, CT; a sister in law Carolyn Laforce of Schenectady, NY, five nieces and numerous cousins. A brother, Ronald P. Laforce, predeceased him.
Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 2 to 4 P.M.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.

Gaynor Anne (Brousseau) Fields
JANUARY 8, 1929 ~ NOVEMBER, 2019 (AGE 90)


Born on January 8, 1929, in Winchendon, MA, as Gaynor Anne Brousseau, daughter of Lillian Y. (L'Etoile) and Rennie J. Brousseau. Gaynor attended Bryant College for Accounting. Gaynor and her husband Frank raised two children in Lexington, MA, where she was a Real Estate Broker for twenty years. When Gaynor retired from Real Estate, she became an interior designer at Ethan Allen. She was President of the Lexington Chapter of Home for Little Wanderers. In 1996, Gaynor and Frank retired to Cape Cod. She was an active golfer and part of Lady Niners and Sunday Scotch at Bass River Golf Course, as well as an active member of the Garden Club of Yarmouth. Gaynor had been a volunteer at both Winchester Hospital and Cape Cod Hospital. Gaynor enjoyed socializing, hosting dinner parties and attending musical theater. Proudly married for 57 years. Gaynor is survived by her husband Francis Xavier Fields of Yarmouth Port, MA, daughter Renee Fields Dickson of Londonderry, NH, son Gregory Fields and his wife Marion of Medfield, MA. Cherished and adored Nana to Cameron, Kyle and Justin Dickson; Alexander, Anastasia and Jocelyn Fields. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th, beginning at 9:30 AM, at Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Yarmouth Port, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Gaynor's memory may be made to the Liberty Commons Residents' Activity Fund, 390 Orleans Rd., Chatham, MA 02650.

Victor Amenta Jr.

1942 ~ NOVEMBER 19, 2019 (AGE 77)


Victor Amenta Jr., of Leominster, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Nov. 19th, 2019. Born in 1942, he was the son of Victor and Mary Amenta of Winchendon. He leaves his beloved wife Carol (Gordon) Amenta. They celebrated their 53rd Wedding Aniv. in October 2019, with family and friends. Vic leaves a son Christopher and his wife Tamara (Woodward) Amenta, a Granddaughter Vyanne Mae and a sister Kathleen (Amenta) Kachinsky and her husband Paul, along with several nieces and nephews.
Vic earned 2 college degrees attending college at night, while working full time days at Foster Grant. He started in the printing room and held many positions during his 23 years with the company. His final position was in the Purchasing Dept., supporting the Engr. Dept. and the Corporate Negotiating Committee.
Vic graduated Cum Laude from Mount Wachusett Community College, earning and Associate of Science Degree in Business Technology. He also graduated Cum Laude from Clark University, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.
Vic enjoyed competitive pistol shooting, earning a Lifetime Masters Qualification from the N.R.A., was also qualified as Expert, by the New England Police and Mass. National Guard. In his younger years, he loved to fish and hunt. Vic was also active in the Eastern States Beagle Club. In his later years Vic enjoyed landscaping, gardening and playing golf. He was a strong supporter of the Veterans.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Charles Belanger Jr., M.D.
1940 ~ NOVEMBER 15, 2019 (AGE 79)


Holden - Charles "Chuck" Francis Xavier Belanger, Jr., 79, of Holden, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019, at UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus, Worcester, shortly after a sudden stroke.
Chuck was born in Winchendon, son of Charles F.X. and Marie Myrtle (Cable) Belanger. Raised in Holden, he was a 1958 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in Physics from WPI, he entered the masters program in physics at the University of Wisconsin before choosing to pursue a career in medicine.
He received medical degrees from Dartmouth and the University of Vermont. His distinguished medical career began in pediatrics at Buffalo Children's Hospital. He served as a major in the Army Medical Corps in Columbus, GA. Back in Massachusetts he worked as Associate Director of the Hahnemann Hospital Emergency Department before joining the medical staff at Paul Revere Insurance Company, rising to Vice-President and Medical Director.
As a life-long environmentalist, conservationist, nature and animal lover, Chuck was an active member of the Holden Garden Club, Wachusett Greenways and Wachusett Meadows and volunteered countless hours to projects and fundraising programs for each.
Together with his family, he travelled extensively throughout New England in all seasons enjoying especially summer hikes and cross-country skiing in winter. Chuck's meticulous nature allowed him to excel at hobbies ranging from model-train building to embroidery and stained-glass creations.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Gail A. (Prentice) Belanger whom he met during high school and married after college in 1962. He also leaves a son, Christopher C. Belanger of Montecito, CA; a daughter, Joy E. Maidrand and her husband, Craig of Dover, NH; a sister, Ann O'Halloran and her husband, Jack of Waltham; three grandchildren, Lexie, Zachary and Zoey; a niece, Michelle and two nephews, Russell and Timothy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am to 12 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 12 pm on Monday, November 25th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Donations may be made to Sweetpea F.O.R. Animals, Inc., 1090 Pleasant Street, Paxton, MA 01612.
