DOMNICK 'MICKEY' ARCECI
July 18, 1923 ~ March 17, 2020 (Age 96)

Domnick "Mickey" Arceci, 96, of Brattleboro, VT died peacefully at his home with Joyce, his wife of 21 years by his side, on March 17, 2020.

Mr. Arceci was born in Winchendon, MA the fifth son to Pietro and Maria (Barbadoro) Arceci. He graduated from Murdock High School in Winchendon, then studied at the New England Conservatory of Music. He played trumpet in many local groups, including Johnny Newton's Dance Band, Gardner, Heywood Wakefield, Brattleboro Legion Band, and many others. He directed the Keene Legion Band until 2000 and had previously formed and directed the Jaffrey Hobo Band.

Mickey enlisted in the Army in March of 1943 during WWII and served with the 623"’ Light Equipment Engineers in the European Theater of Operations, first landing at Omaha Beach. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, Mickey returned to Winchendon and later moved to Jaffrey in 1946 when he married Rachel Girouard, who predeceased him in 1993.

He was a salesman on the road many years for various employers, and owned and operated his businesses, the Ice Cream Shoppe in Jaffrey for 9 years, and the Monadnock Beverage Co. for 22 years, retiring in 1989. His love of music was always with him as was his trumpet. He met Joyce when they were both members of the Brattleboro and Keene Legion Bands. They were married in 1998 and moved to Brattleboro in 2006.

In addition to his wife, Mickey is survived by his son Gary & wife Vicki of Jaffrey, his daughter Robin Horn and her fiancée, Ricky Jaubert of Tulsa, OK, and his stepson Christopher Frost & wife Andrea of Brattleboro; his mother-in-law, Anna Filion of Brattleboro; 11 grandchildren, including Clenn with whom he had a close bond; 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was also predeceased by his brothers, Emilio, Gino, John, Leon and Norman; his daughter, Gail Arceci Healy in 2013; his son-in-law, Michael Healy in 2019, and his grandson Nathaniel Horn in 2019.

A private burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at celebrated at St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey and will be announced at a later date.

ROBERT BROUILLET
March 21, 2020 (Age 79)

SPENCER - Robert E. Brouillet, 79, of Lakeview Drive died Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Rose Monahan Hospice House after an illness.

He leaves his companion of 45 years, Susan M. Olson; five brothers, Paul Brouillet and his wife Marie of New Hampshire, David Brouillet and his wife Sue of Winchendon, Ernie Brouillet of Templeton, William Brouillet and his wife Kathy of Florida and Thomas Brouillet of Philipston; two sisters, Sylvia Chapman and her husband Bruce of Royalston and Shirley Brouillet of Templeton; several nieces and nephews.

Robert was born in Templeton, son of Leon A. and Rowina A. (Wheeler) Brouillet. He was a carpenter at Crowley Construction for many years. He served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing horses. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union and the United States Trotting Association. He also served as a reserve deputy for the Worcester County Sheriff's Department.

Funeral services and burial in the Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon will be private at the convenience of the family. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing funeral arrangements.

CAROL A. FOURNIER
March 21, 2020 (Age 75)

Carol A. (Carrier) Fournier, of Bridgewater, age 75, died peacefully but unexpectedly on March 21, 2020. Carol was the loving daughter of the late Adrian and Yvonne (Roberts) Carrier and grew up in Winchendon. Carol started working at an early age and while out with friends met a young man who was in Navy named Maurice Fournier, after a brief courtship the two would marry on August 1, 1964. When Maurice returned from his tour they moved to Quincy in 1969 before settling in East Bridgewater in 1974 where they raised their children. Carol, always a devoted homemaker, also had a lengthy career with the Foxboro Company where she worked for 30 years.

In her younger years, Carol loved being active with her children but also was a valuable member of St. Johns Church in East Bridgewater. When the children were older she and Maurice took the best trip of their lives to Disney World, they enjoyed every minute of it. The two of them always loved a good adventure; whether it was bringing the whole family to Cooperstown or Niagara Falls or with just Maurice to have lunch near an awesome lighthouse like in Portland. Her home was always filled with music, typically country, and her funny yet tough personality made her a hoot to be with. She was stubborn to a tee yet endearing, loving, kind, and fun. Everyone loved her and she will be greatly missed.

Carol was the loving wife of Maurice M. Fournier of Bridgewater; and devoted mother of Scott A. Fournier and his wife of East Bridgewater, James R. Fournier of Texas, and Derek B. Fournier of Brockton; loving "Grammy" of Riley, Elizabeth, Zachary, Joshua, Kristina, Andrea, and Hannah; loving sister of Norman, Marshall, Gloria and Paul all of Winchendon, and the late Annette, Roger, and Tina. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
