Flags for Forgotten Heroes Military Suicide Flag Installation 10:00 a.m. Join us as we install 660 American flags to represent the number of veterans we lose to suicide every month, one large American flag to represent the 40+ active duty, National Guard and Reservists we lose every month and 5 American flags to represent the 120+ First Responders we lose every month to suicide. Picnic in the Park With the Zoo 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. Please join us for a day full of animals, games and crafts. We will have ice coffee, an ice cream truck and the Growing Places mobile market starting at 11:30 all day. Bring a blanket (and lunch if you don't want the food we have to offer). We will have Animal Craze (a local petting zoo) from 11:30-1:30, music starting at 11:30 for the day, painting in the park ongoing and lawn games all day.
