Mary E. Mustakangas

MARY E. MUSTAKANGAS
August 13, 1964 ~ June 30, 2021 (Age 56)

GARDNER - Mary E. (Amadon) Mustakangas, 56, of 235 Pine Street, died peacefully at her residence, Wednesday, June 30, 2021 with her family at her side.

She was born in Peterborough, N.H.on August 13, 1964, daughter of the late Joan Hyatt, and grew up in Royalston.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, walking in the woods, taking car rides and listening to music.

She leaves a son, Luke A. Mustakangas and his fiance Danielle Kilty of Gardner; two grandsons, Caleb Mustakangas of Winchendon and John Hartwell of Lunenburg; a brother Scott Amadon of Royalston; two sisters, Sally Pratt of Royalston and Marie Mello of Royalston; her longtime companion, Pete Robichaud of Gardner and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Jason T. Mustakangas and a brother, Timothy Amadon.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 3 P.M. in Jonas Alliene Cemetery, Royalston.

David A. Ricard

DAVID A. RICARD
July 11, 1964 ~ July 7, 2021 (Age 56)

WINCHENDON - David A. Ricard, 56, of Winchendon, died Thursday, July 7, 2021 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

He was born in Concord, MA on July 11, 1964, son of Mary Ann (Lombardo) Ricard of Hudson, MA and the late Adam L. Ricard, Jr. Dave was a graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical School and had lived in Winchendon since 1994.

Dave worked as a carpenter for many years, for both local construction companies and as a self-employed carpenter. Active in scouting, Dave was former Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop #193. His hobbies included fishing and camping.

In addition to his mother, he leaves two children, Evan Ricard and Hannah Ricard, both of Winchendon; a brother, Michael Ricard of Hudson, MA; a sister, Marie Dean of Hudson, NH as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Bruce Bartlett

BRUCE BARTLETT
June 26, 1935 ~ June 30, 2021 (Age 86)

WINCHENDON - It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce Bartlett announces his passing on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Leominster Hospital at the age of 86.

Bruce will be fondly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Margaret (Connor) and their children Catherine Hirani and her husband Shirish of Lexington, MA; Gretchen Mary Bartlett and her husband Richard McCloskey of Cambridge, MA; and Christopher D. Bartlett of Bath, ME.

Bruce is pre-deceased by his parents Ray P. Bartlett, Sr. and Alice (Tashchereau) Bartlett as well as his four siblings Ray P. (Jr.), Frank T., Wayland R., and David Bartlett. The Bartlett family ran the former J.H. Davenport Oil Company which originated as a coal and ice-cutting business on Pequot Pond in 1870.

A native of Winchendon, MA, Bruce was a graduate of Cushing Academy and Nichols College, where the groundwork for a successful career in business and lifelong love of sports were laid. He was a US Air Force reservist.

A loving father and uncle, he was happiest petting one of his dogs or keeping the grounds at home ship shape.

A private burial is planned.

Robert G. Roy

ROBERT G. ROY
June 27, 1950 ~ July 4, 2021 (Age 71)

MANCHESTER, NH - Robert G. Roy, 71, of Manchester, NH, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, July 4, 2021.

He was born in Fitchburg on June 27, 1950, son of the late Robert A. and Cecile (Gaudet) Roy and grew up in Ashburnham. Bob was a graduate of Oakmont Regional High School. He was a resident of Manchester, NH for five years after living previously in Colbrook, NH.

Bob had worked as a machinist mold maker in the plastics field for many years. He had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His hobbies were fishing and hunting.

He leaves two sons, Joshua Roy and his wife Charlene of Manchester, NH and Sheldon Roy of Ashburnham; a granddaughter Autumn Roy and a soon to be great granddaughter Nayeli. He also leaves his former wife Mary Jane Thomas of Winchendon and a sister, Rita Roy of Leominster. He was preceded in death by siblings, Maurice Roy, Terry Roy and Joey Roy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
