Each week will feature a story, crafts, and learning activities themed around a social justice issue. This summer we will explore Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage, celebrate love in all types of families, and learn about pronouns! Registration is REQUIRED. Picnic in the Park Splash Day 11:00 a.m. there will be a food truck so bring a blanket and enjoy lunch (outside food is welcome if you prefer) Growing Places market will also be at our picnic. We will have bubble activities, a variety of water games, tye dye, a photo op center, sand art and so much more. As always Music will be playing and we hope to get an ice cream truck as well. We will have Winchendon Community Park T-shirts available if you want to purchase them to tye-dye and support the park, but you may also bring your own item to tye dye. We will have a comic strip contest where you can bring your own comic strip or create it at the park on our template. Scavenger hunts, fair house building, Super hero training and if we are lucky maybe a magical unicorn will even show up. We hope this is fun for all ages not just the children.
