Thelma J. Benoit

THELMA J. BENOIT
September 16, 1932 ~ August 18, 2021 (Age 88)

WESTMINSTER - Thelma J. "Sissy" (Blake) Benoit, 88, of 21 Miles Avenue, died peacefully in her residence, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, with her family at her side.

She was born in Chester, VT on September 16, 1932, daughter of the late Clifford and Alvina (Brooks) Blake. She grew up in Winchendon and had lived in Westminster since 1958.

Sissy worked at one time at New Hampshire Ball Bearing and sold Avon Products for several years. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and attending family and sporting events of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her husband of 69 years, Richard D. Benoit, died on July 25, 2021. She leaves three children, Deborah Aubin of Winchendon, Robert Benoit of Westminster and Shaun Benoit of San Diego, CA.; two grandchildren, Stacey Aubin of Winchendon and Sherri Carpenter of TX; two great grandchildren, Izaria Alcantara and Izayah Alcantara; two sisters, Norma Anderson and husband Ray of Athol and Gloria Kelley of Gardner and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Richard Blake, Donald Blake, Clifford Blake, Kenneth Blake, Frederick Blake, Beverly Campbell, Shirley Croteau, Lorraine Chadwick and Elizabeth LaPointe.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon is directing arrangements.

GARY L. HAMLIN
October 18, 1954 ~ July 30, 2021 (Age 66)

Gary L Hamlin, age 66, died unexpectedly at his home in Monson, ME on July 30, 2021. Gary was born in Winchendon, MA on October 18, 1954 and was raised in Athol as a son of the late Everett A and Olive T Taylor. Gary attended Athol schools and was a 1973 graduate of Athol High School. After graduation Gary enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served on the aircraft carriers the USS Nimitz and the USS John F Kennedy.

Gary's lifelong love of the outdoors really bloomed during the many summers he spent at YMCA Camp Wiyaka in Richmond, NH. Gary was a hard worker, whether it was operating his own trash disposal business or building his own lakeside log home. Gary had also worked for several years at Girardi Distributors in Athol. He also always enjoyed having a good time with family and the many good friends he met along the way.

Gary is survived by his cousins Ruth Spooner and her husband William of Warwick, MA and Marie Erali of Athol. He is also survived by the Taylor family including Sylvia (Taylor) McManus and her husband Ralph of Framingham; Richard Lima of St. Louis; Andrew Lima, and his children of St. Louis; James Lima of Marion, Nancy Taylor, and her daughter of California; Lloyd Taylor of Tully and several Taylor cousins as well as many friends and his faithful four-legged companion, Gracie. In addition to Everett and Olive Taylor Gary was also predeceased by Daryl (Taylor) Lima.

A graveside funeral service for Gary will take place on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 am at Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol, MA. Enter the cemetery by way of the gate at the end of Horrigan Avenue and turn to the right. A reception at the Tully City Council Club, 365 Tully Road, Orange, MA will follow the service.

While COVID protocols regarding masks and care with social distancing are required, coats and ties for the gentlemen are not.

David Perry

DAVID PERRY
August 19, 2021 (Age 63)

WORCESTER - David T. Perry, age 63, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Born in Worcester, he was the son of Robert K. and Jean M. (Tod) Perry.

After graduating from Doherty Memorial High School in 1976, Dave entered into the United States Air Force Reserve as a Technical Specialist. He then went on to work for over 25 years in telecommunications as a voice technician for Nextiraone LLC, previously known as Williams Communications/Nortel Networks, before finishing his career at Vencom Communications.

Dave lived a simple life and enjoyed the quiet lifestyle. His passion was working out and could be found lifting at one of the many gyms he belonged to alongside the many friends he met. Later in life, he became a certified personal trainer.

He is survived by his loving mother, Jean M. Perry of Worcester; his brother, Robert K. Perry, Jr. and his wife, Joanne of Cherry Valley; and three sisters, Joan Perry of Winchendon, Jean Sinclair and her husband, Gary of Harwich, Kathleen Berrocal and her husband, William of Costa Rica; and five nieces and nephews.

A graveside service honoring his life will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Food for the Poor Program, 44 Temple St., Worcester, MA 01604. Ann Brunck

ANN BRUNCK
May 21, 1970 ~ August 21, 2021 (Age 51)

Ann Brunck, 51 passed away Saturday August 21, 2021 after a long battle with cancer with her family at her side. Ann was born on May 21, 1970 in Rockville Centre, NY. She was the daughter of the late Gloria Brunck Favreau and Arthur Favreau. Ann leaves behind her sons, Zachary Connors and Damien Peneseau both of Winchendon and her siblings, Debbie Brunck, Donna Morin, John Brunck and Carol Brunck, and nieces and nephews.
