Winchendon Public Schools Superintendent Search

Dear Winchendon community,

As the Winchendon School Committee conducts the search for the next superintendent of the Winchendon Public Schools, they have contracted with the Massachusetts Association of School Committees to staff the search. As the MASC Field Director for central Massachusetts, I will be conducting much of this work.

To fully inform the Committee of the community's perspective on this search, MASC will be conducting two public input sessions in the evening, in addition to meeting with staff, administration, and students. The two evening sessions, both of which will be in the Murdock High School auditorium, will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27 and on Wednesday, September 29. Interested families and members of the public are invited to attend.

Additionally, MASC is conducting a survey regarding the district and its search, which I would appreciate your taking. The survey will be open through Friday, October 1 and can be found online: www.surveymonkey.com/r/Winchendon.

Any member of the Winchendon community is welcome to take the survey.

Thank you very much for your contribution to this important process,

Tracy Novick
