Craig M. Kellogg

CRAIG M. KELLOGG
August 3, 1957 ~ November 2, 2021 (Age 64)

WINCHENDON - Craig M. Kellogg, 64, of Winchendon, died Tuesday. November 2, 2021.

He was born in Concord, MA on August 3, 1957, son of Margaret M. (Forrester) Kellogg of Hillsboro, Oregon and the late Christopher Charles Kellogg. Craig grew up in Acton and lived in Westford, MA for several years before moving to Winchendon, where he lived for many years.

Craig was a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Acton for several years and later worked for a short time for the Town of Winchendon DPW. Craig was also a self- employed general contractor in Winchendon. An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and owned many horses, dogs and animals. He was particularly fond on his pig Maggie and his German shepherd Heidi.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his wife of 33 years, Jeanne L. (Reid) Kellogg; five children, Virginia J. Kellogg of Winchendon and Craig M. Kellogg Jr of Westford, Brian J. Major of Keene, NH, Christopher J. Major and his wife Jackie of South Hero, VT and James A. Major and wife Ruth of Northampton, MA; three grandchildren, Kyla, Akira and Dean; a brother Paul J. Kellogg and wife Lorraine of Hartford, CT; a sister, Cynthia Ann Jeffrey and husband Scott of Aloha, OR; two nieces, Katherine and Elizabeth and two nephews, John and Conner.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

TRACY J. (BAUM) ASHLINE

Gardner, MA - It is with great sadness in our hearts that Tracy J (Baum) Ashline, beloved mother, daughter, wife, & aunt passed away peacefully on 11/3/21. The essence of her soul will live on with us forever.

Tracy was loved by anyone that befriended her. Tracy left this world so young but she made an impact on so many people. She was caring, sweet, kind, funny, & we can't forget her beautiful red hair.

Tracy was born in S. Weymouth, Ma. & resided in Winchendon, Billerica, Quincy & Gardner, Ma. She loved Music, movies, sports, swimming, hiking, & family barbeques.

She is survived by parents Richard & Debra Baum of Altamonte Springs, Fl, Son Ryan Ashline of Fitchburg, Ma, daughter Victoria, sister Amy Baum & brother David Baum of Southbridge, Ma, Nieces & nephews Brianna Verolini of Templeton, Ma, Jacob Tranni of Billerica Ma, Lisa Baum & Leah Francis of Altamonte Springs, Fl, Haylee Patterson of Fitchburg, Ma, Jaymee & her Aunt Barbara Baum of Tampa, Fl. She was pre-deceased by loving grandparents Louis & Gladys Baum of Quincy, Ma.

Kenneth Enzo Boudreau

KENNETH ENZO BOUDREAU
December 24, 1967 ~ September 21, 2021 (Age 53)

Kenneth Enzo Boudreau, 53, of Mansfield Center, CT, passed away September 21, 2021, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, CT, after a valiant struggle with a bacterial infection that invaded his bloodstream and attacked his heart. His devoted brother, two sisters, and sister-in-law were at his side throughout.

Kenneth was born December 24, 1967, in Gardner, MA, and grew up in Baldwinville, MA. He graduated from Narragansett High School (1985), where he played football and was involved in theater. His life's journey brought him to New Hampshire, Martha's Vineyard, California, Florida, and, finally, Connecticut.

He was skilled at carpentry, cabinetry, and other trades. An avid outdoorsman and seeker of wisdom, Kenneth loved all things bright and beautiful, all things wise and wonderful, all creatures great and small. He had an immense passion for life and was always ready with a positive hug for anyone.

Kenneth was predeceased by his father, George J. Boudreau and his mother, Jeannine M. (Monette) Boudreau Roy. He is survived by his son Chase McNiff of Amherst, MA, his brother Larry (Michelle) Boudreau of Ashburnham, MA, his two sisters, Nannette Voisine and Suzette (Roger) Goguen, both of Gardner, MA. In addition, he leaves two cherished nieces, Lauren (DJ) Boudreau of Orange, MA, and Vanessa (Corey) Boudreau of Winchendon, MA. Kenneth has numerous extended family and dear friends worldwide. They will feel a tremendous void because he has left this physical world.

Celebrations of his life have been held in Gardner, MA, and Columbia, CT. If you were not able to attend either of them, give somebody a big hug in Kenneth's memory.

Herbert Woody Woodward

HERBERT CLIFFORD "WOODY" WOODWARD
February 19, 1946 ~ October 28, 2021 (Age 75)

Herbert Clifford "Woody" Woodward of Raleigh, NC died on October 28, 2021 at the age of 75. Woody was born on February 19, 1946 in Winchendon, MA.

Woody is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeanette Caroll Woodward.

Following high school, Woody served in U.S. Army Special Forces including two tours in Vietnam. After leaving the military, he worked as an instructor at the North Carolina Outward Bound School. Woody then moved to Bitburg, Germany where he started an outdoor education program for military dependents known as Project Bold which continued for another 33 years.

After four years in Germany, Woody and his family relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he developed an outdoor adventure treatment modality for the McLeod Addictive Disease Center. Woody founded Charlotte Outdoor Adventure Center and later became the Director of Park and Recreation on Oak Island, NC. Finally, Woody worked for the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department for 16 years until his retirement.

During retirement, Woody was an active volunteer in his community. He was a member of the Open Space and Parks Advisory Committee, Stonebridge HOA, and Bridge II Sports. Woody was especially committed to Outward Bound's Veteran's programs.

Woody's true passion was spending time with his wife, traveling to see friends in Washington State, New England, and Italy, watching his son play hockey weekly, ordering fun gadgets from Amazon Prime, and doing anything involving his grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at Soapstone United Methodist Church, 12837 Norwood Road, Raleigh, NC 27613 on Saturday, November 20 at 1:00pm. A graveside service will be held at approximately 3:30pm at Raleigh Memorial Park.

Lucien J. Pelletier

LUCIEN J. PELLETIER
May 2, 1943 ~ November 6, 2021 (Age 78)

Lucien J. Pelletier, 78, a lifelong resident of Jaffrey, died peacefully on November 6, 2021 at the Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston after a period of failing health.

Lucien was born on May 2, 1943, a son of the late Andrew and Leona (Lavoie) Pelletier, Jr., After attending Conant High School, Lucien enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country honorably for 8 years as a second-class radioman aboard the USS Willisa Lee and the USS Wasp.

Upon his return home to Jaffrey, Lucien worked as a print press operator at various manufacturers in town, including D.D. Bean & Sons, and Reed and Prince, and he retired from Printegra in 2007. He was a life member and a Past Commander of the John Humiston Post #11 American Legion in Jaffrey. For many years Lucien led the effort to place and retrieve the American Flags displayed at each veteran's grave in all of the cemeteries in Jaffrey. Lucien was always very giving and thought of others before himself. He was a Boy Scout leader and Assistant Scoutmaster with BSA Troop 33 in Jaffrey for many years, and enjoyed Horned Pout fishing and hunting in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, Lucien is predeceased by his brother, Andy Pelletier.

Lucien is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jackie (Bennett) Lucas Pelletier, of Jaffrey, his 2 daughters, Theresa M Dupuis and her husband Anthony of Winchendon, MA, and Correl A Gallagher and her husband Alex of Jaffrey, his 2 sons, Bert J. Pelletier of Jaffrey, and Lucien J Pelletier, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Sweet Home, OR, his step-daughter, Jodi Giglio of Washington, NH, his step-son, Philip Eastman, Jr. of Antrim, NH, his grandchildren: April, Lisa, Michael, Caleb, Kyle, Lexi, Philip, Hillary, Lucas and Felicia, as well as many great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind, his sisters, Rose Price of California, Betty Bussiere and her husband Steve, of Jaffrey, Judy and her husband Dave Quimby of Rindge, his brother, Wilfred 'Peanut' and his wife Mary Pelletier of Jaffrey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including his friendly barking dog Ed.

At Lucien's request, there will be no calling hours.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the John Humiston American Legion Hall, 20 Webster Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 PM. Military Honors will follow and burial will take place at the family lot in Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey at the convenience of the family.

Patricia E. Scarrell

PATRICIA E. SCARRELL
May 12, 1952 ~ November 6, 2021 (Age 69)

WINCHENDON - Patricia E. Scarrell, 69, of 34 Prospect Street, died peacefully Saturday morning, November 6, 2021 in Backus Hospital, Norwich, CT.

She was born in Winchendon on May 12, 1952, daughter of the late Royce C. and Margaret E. (Chase) Scarrell. Patty was a 1970 graduate of Murdock High School and a 1974 graduate of Westfield State College.

Patty began bookkeeping for several automobile dealerships and worked for many years at Mathieu Ford. She later worked as executive director of Winchendon CAC and most recently worked at Wal-Mart in Rindge, NH. Patty was a long time member and former church secretary at the United Parish. She enjoyed making crafts and decorating her home at Christmas for the neighborhood children.

She leaves two brothers, John C. Scarrell and his fiancé Kathleen Kwedor of Winchendon and Philip A. Scarrell and his wife Martha of Richmond, TX; three nieces, Jennifer L. Scarrell-Robillard of Bedford, NH, Krista M. Jackson and husband Curtis and Alexandra N. Scarrell and her fiancé Luke Lavin, all of Clayton, NC, a great niece Kayleigh Robillard of Bedford, NH and a great nephew Hunter Jackson of Clayton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 1 P.M. in the United Parish, 39 Front Street, Winchendon. Calling hours are from 12 to 1 P.M. in church preceding the service.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Leonard J. Bardwell

LEONARD J. BARDWELL
January 14, 1949 ~ November 9, 2021 (Age 72)

WINCHENDON - Leonard James "Jim" Bardwell, 72, formerly of Winchendon died peacefully Tuesday at his sister's residence in North Windham, CT.

He was born in Keene, NH on January 14, 1949, son of the late Oscar and Adeline (Tedford) Bardwell and lived in Winchendon for many years until recently. He had attended Thayer High School in Winchester, NH.

Jim worked for 38 years at Pratt and Whitney United Tech in Juniper, FL and East Hartford, CT until his retirement. Jim was a dog lover and loved to travel to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Florida and Las Vegas, NV. A registered Democrat, he was a member of the Winchendon Democratic Committee.

His lifetime partner of 42 years, Raymond L. Duval, died in 2010. He leaves two sisters, Marie Eldridge of No. Windham, CT and Annarene Mesic of West Swanzey, NH, a brother, Charles E. Leslie Sr of Winchendon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Warner and a brother, Clarence Leslie Jr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. A calling hour will precede the service Wednesday from 10 to 11 A.M.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a local animal shelter.
