Mrs. Owiredu is in her 8th year of teachinh, and she is currently the ALL Program Teacher at Toy Town Elementary. When asked about her work, Mrs. Owiredu replied, "I love watching the excitement and celebrating with students when they accomplish something they have been working on! To make a difference in the lives of my students, I really try to make learning as hands-on as possible. I do this so that they will take what they have learned inside the classroom and use it in their everyday lives!"







SNHU Announces Fall 2021 President's List

MANCHESTER, NH (01/12/2022)-- It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Fall 2021 President's List.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

Presenter: Cynthia Maxfield MS.ED. Cynthia has 45 years experience as an Early Childhood Teacher and Administrator working with families inboth public and private schools, as well as community settings. As the former Early Childhood Coordinator atNashoba Regional School District, Cynthia led a pilot program implementing "Positive Behavior Supports" inearly childhood classrooms.

Supporting Social/Emotional Development and Building Positive Relationships
This session will focus on building positive relationships with our children, as well as teaching them skills to build friendships and positive ways to behave and interact with others.

January 27
Determining the Meaning of Behavior
This session will focus on our children's challenging behavior and offer strategies to teach them to behave, express their emotions and solve problems.
