JAKE R. WOJDAK
August 13, 1988 ~ February 10, 2022 (Age 33)

WINCHENDON - Jake R. Wojdak, 33, of Winchendon died Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Jake was born in Gardner on August 13, 1988, son of Richard P. and Katherine (Richard) Wojdak of Winchendon and lived most of his life in Winchendon and Worcester.

Jake was a graduate of Murdock High School and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed watching videos and listening to music.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 2 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.

A calling hour will precede the service Friday from 1 to 2 P.M.

DANIEL P. FLANAGAN SR.
July 24, 1950 ~ February 12, 2022 (Age 71)

aniel P. Flanagan, Sr., 71, of Gardner, died peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, surrounded by his family.

Born in Gardner on July 24, 1950, he was the son of the late John Flanagan, Sr., and Irene (LaFarr) Flanagan. He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1968. Dan was employed by Hannaford Supermarket in Gardner in the Deli Department for two years after his retirement. He was previously employed by Honey Farms, Prudential Insurance, and owned Bonks Market of Gardner for several years. Dan was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner and a parishioner of the Holy Cross Church of East Templeton. He was a member of the Napoleon Club, the Polish American Citizen's Club, and the Acadien Social Club, all of Gardner. His greatest enjoyment came when he was with his family. He was an avid golfer playing in, and winning, multiple local tournaments at the Gardner Municipal Golf Course. Dan also loved to be working outside in the yard, baking family recipes, reading, and watching Jeopardy.

Dan leaves his wife of over 50 years, Janice S. (Kapacziewski) Flanagan of Gardner; two daughters, Meggin Hendley and her husband Jarrod of Winchendon, Sandra Pellecchia and her husband Ryan of Leominster, one son, Daniel Flanagan, Jr. and his wife Ashley of Louisville, KY; two brothers, John Flanagan, Jr. of The Villages, FL, Brian Flanagan and his wife Janet of Winchendon; three sisters, Sr. Kathryn Flanagan, SSJ of Pittsfield, Sheila Crowell of St. Louis, MO, Maureen Richardson of West Mifflin, PA; six grandchildren, Cameron Pellecchia, Thomas and Gabriella Hendley, Sloane, Jameson, and Karsyn Flanagan; two godchildren, Ann Flanagan of Takoma Park, MD, and Alek Dernalowicz of Gardner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins for whom he always had a smile.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Kevin Flanagan, Sr. and David Flanagan, Sr.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 25 Lake Ave., Templeton, MA. Family and friends are asked to report directly to the church. Burial at St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date.

Calling hours will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Boucher Funeral Home Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.

Leo Montbreand

LEO MONTBREAND
Ju ~ February 13, 2022 (Age 80)

WINCHENDON - Leo A. Montbreand, 80, of Winchendon, died peacefully at his residence Sunday, February 13, 2022, with his close friends at his side.

He was born in Winchendon on November 14, 1941, son of the late Albert J. and Harriet M. (Porter) Montbreand. He lived in Winchendon and Gardner most of his life.

Leo worked for many years at the former Templeton Developmental Center as a tractor driver and van driver. An outdoorsman, Leo enjoyed fishing and kayaking. An avid collector of metal model cars, he enjoyed going to car shows. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his friends.

He leaves his close friends, Donald Verolini and Jay and Dawn Gilbert, with whom he lived.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.

Mary Jane Helie

MARY JANE HELIE
December 4, 1949 ~ February 15, 2022 (Age 72)

WINCHENDON - Mary Jane (Ducharme) Helie, 72, of Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday evening, February 15, 2022 in Fitchburg Healthcare, Fitchburg.

She was born in Winchendon on December 4, 1949, daughter of the late George Ducharme Sr. and Theresa (LaPointe) Girard and had lived in Japan, Arizona and Colorado before returning to Winchendon a few years ago. Mary Jane was a 1967 graduate of Murdock high School.

Mary Jane had worked as a data coordinator for ADT for several years and had previously worked as a dance instructor and librarian at The Winchendon School. She loved children, animals and veterans causes and would frequently donate to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, ASPCA or to national veterans' outreach centers.

She was the wife of the late Steven Helie and leaves three children, Renee Eldredge of Winchendon, Stephanie Tenney of Chatham and Alan Wilson of Washington; five grandchildren, Morgan Eldredge, Jamie Barr, Madison Eldredge and Emma and Grace Barr; her siblings, George Ducharme Jr. of Winchendon, Dennis Ducharme of Winchendon, Joyce E. Carrier and husband Mark of Winchendon, Anthony J. Ducharme and wife Dodie of Winchendon, Michele M. Comeau and husband Donald and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Leo Girard.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
