Donald Robert Eddy Sr.

DONALD ROBERT EDDY SR.
June 1, 1937 ~ August 17, 2022 (Age 85)

WINCHENDON - Donald Robert Eddy Sr., 85, of Winchendon, died Wednesday afternoon, August 17, 2022 in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital, with his family at his side.

He was born in Montague, MA on June 1, 1937, son of the late Francis and Esther (Bourbeau) Eddy and grew up in Erving. He and his wife Gloria had been residents of Winchendon for nearly 50 years.

Don had worked in the logging and woodworking industry and was employed at the former Sargent Wood Products in Gardner for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed going to flea markets, hunting, fishing, camping, running his tractor and socializing with family and friends.

He leaves his wife of 62 years, Gloria (Clough) Eddy; three children, Jeffrey A. Eddy and his wife Tracy, Charles F. Eddy and Rebecca G. Harmon and her significant other Robert Carolis, all of Winchendon; ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. He also leaves his sisters and brother, Constance Brown of Turners Falls, Rose Clough of Orange, Evelyn Costello of Erving and William Eddy of Florida as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald R. Eddy Jr; five sisters, Irene Sobiesky, Florence Whitmore, Susan Roach, Corina Bezio and Charity Lema and a great grandson Jayden Atwood.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 5 to 7 P.M.

Graveside services will be in Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1 P.M. in Riverside Cemetery.

Rita B. McKellick

RITA B. McKELLICK
December 28, 1937 ~ August 12, 2022 (Age 84)

Rita B. (Rouleau) McKellick, 84, of Winchendon, died peacefully Friday, August 12, 2022, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

Born in Gardner on December 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Hermance (Houde) Rouleau. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1957. Rita was a Processing Clerk employed by the Medical Records Department at Heywood Hospital of Gardner for 27-years prior to her retirement in 2001. She was previously employed by Vezina Insurance of Gardner.

Rita was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She loved to play computer games her favorite being Solitaire. Rita's greatest joy was her family, treasuring all the special moments they had together.

Rita is survived by her son, Michael S. McKellick and his wife Lynne of Winchendon; two daughters, Patricia A. McKellick and her husband William of Hull and Barbara J. McKellick of Gardner; two granddaughters, Katie and Sarah and her husband Zachary; a brother, Joseph Rouleau of Winchendon; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband 44-years, Leo E. McKellick; a sister, Jeanne Cloutier; and two brothers, Rev. Maurice Rouleau, S.S.S, and Roland Rouleau.

Funeral Services will be announced and held at a later date.

Roseanna Y. (Valcourt) Peterson

ROSEANNA Y. (VALCOURT) PETERSON
June 27, 1963 ~ August 2, 2022 (Age 59)

Roseanna Yvonne Valcourt was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world surrounded by her loving family on August 2, 2022 at the young age of 59 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ms. Valcourt was born in Fitchburg to the late Roger and Jeanne (Reynolds) Valcourt on June 27, 1963. Rose attended Fitchburg Public Schools and was a lifelong resident. She worked for Depot Distributors, the Fitchburg public school system and recently Hannaford Supermarkets. Rose is survived by her daughters Krystal Bedard and her husband Benjamin of Westminster and Natasha Girouard of Leominster, son Robert Peterson of Leominster and faithful companion Skip Caisse. She was loved by her grandchildren Lillian Bedard, Dylan Bedard and Benjamin Bedard. She will also sorely be missed by her siblings Brenda Palmer of Leominster, Greg Valcourt of Leominster, Chris Valcourt of Winchendon, nieces, nephews and countless friends. She is predeceased by her brother Roger Valcourt.

Rosie loved having a good time and could be found basking in the sun, watching Nascar and listening to music while busying herself in the kitchen. Rose enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, antiques and handmade items.

A committal service is scheduled for 11 am on August 27,2022 at The Hillside Cemetery in Townsend with a celebration of life to immediately follow at the Knights of Columbus 165 Electric Ave, Fitchburg MA 01420.
