Kenneth B. White, Jr.

KENNETH B. WHITE, JR.
August 6, 1926 ~ January 16, 2023 (Age 96)

Kenneth B White Jr, 96, of Portsmouth NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Wentworth Senior Living, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on August 6, 1926, in Boston, MA, the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Hawk) White.

Ken Graduated from Choate School in CT 1944, then joined the US Navy and served during WWII on the USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier. After being discharged, Ken attended Princeton University for several years.

Ken's business accomplishments were President of the Falls Company, President of Turlanco (10 pin Bowling Centers in MA, NH, and ME), President of White Turf Inc. (Golf Course Irrigation Installation Company).

Ken was a member of American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Kiwanis Club, and spent 56 years as a member of Key Largo Ocean Reef Club and Anglers Club. Ken was a trustee of Applewild School, Fitchburg Ma, The Warner House, Portsmouth NH, and The Whitney Bridge Fund for the town of Winchendon MA. Ken Held offices of President of the Toy Town Golf Club 1965, Vice-President to the Winchendon Hospital, Director of Winchendon Savings Bank and President of the Irrigation Association 1976-1977, Commodore and Director at the Key Largo Anglers Club, chair of the Croquet Committee at both Ocean Reef and Anglers Club.

Ken's early years were filled with Fishing, Tennis, Skiing, organic Gardening and being a scratch golfer to later in life as a Professional Wildlife Photographer, Professional Croquet player/Instructor, Stained Glass Craftsman/Instructor and Wooden Model Ship Building in his 80s (HMS Victory, USS Constitution (2 of them) and Charles Morgan (Whaling Ship).

Survivors include his children, Patricia "Patsy" Carbonetti of Exeter, Kenneth "Kirk" White III and his wife, Theresa of Portsmouth, James "Jim" White and his wife, Nicole of Dover, Andrew "Andy" White and his wife, Jette of Denmark and Zadoc "Zed" White and his wife, Wendolyn of Rye, 10 grandchildren, Emily White, Sarah Jacobs(Gerald), Lisa Charny-Brunet (Guillaume), James Carbonetti (Sarah), Jason White, ( Meagan), Jakob White (Emily) Ashley White, Amanda Waylonis (Tim), Savanna White and Zadoc White III; and 12 great grandchildren.

Stepchildren Jane Lanzillotti, Julie Pickett (Jack), Chuck Schwer (Kate) their children and grandchildren.

Ken is predeceased by his 1st wife Joan (Heard) White and his 2nd wife Marjorie (Canfield) White.

We will remember Ken for his long rich life, and living life to the fullest, the love for his family, a friend to many, and his passion for the mighty bears whether it be the Rulers of the Arctic (Polar) in Churchill CA or the Grizzlies of AK.

A "Celebration of Life" will take place this summer at the Zadoc Long White Memorial site in Riverside Cemetery Winchendon MA.

GLENDA A. BISHOP
November 10, 1947 ~ January 15, 2023 (Age 75)

Winchendon - Glenda A. Bishop, 75, of Winchendon, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester.

Glenda was born in Fitchburg, on November 10, 1947, the daughter of the late Rina A. (Baggio) Bishop. She grew up in Fitchburg and graduated from Fitchburg High School.

She worked as an administrative assistant for the U.S. Army at Ft. Devens for several years prior to her retirement.

Glenda was a physical fitness enthusiast who enjoyed going to the gym and hiking. She was also a lover of all animals.

She leaves her father, Glenn Bishop and her brother Randy Bishop both of Ashburnham.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated privatley in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St. Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Fitchburg in the spring.

Robert W. Donnelly

ROBERT W. DONNELLY
July 21, 1965 ~ January 16, 2023 (Age 57)

ORANGE, MA - Robert W. Donnelly, 57, of South Main Street, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Athol on July 21, 1965, he was the son of the late David A. and Norma B. (White) Donnelly.

He leaves behind the love of his life and fiancée of 13 years, Jennifer Amero; his twin sons, Daniel Donnelly and David Donnelly; 2 grandchildren, Tilan and Veronica; 3 step daughters, Asia Picano, Haille Picano and Madison Picano; a brother, Raymond Donnelly and his wife, Brendalee Donnelly, of Winchendon; his sister, Maureen Donnelly Moran and her husband, Michael Moran, of Athol; his sister, Katherine Donnelly Marshall and her husband, Frank Marshall, of Ohio; his brother, James Lanagan and his wife, Rebecca Lanagan, of Virginia; his sister, Lori Lanagan of Athol; a favorite aunt, Carol Patriquin and her husband, Chuck, of Athol; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Michael Donnelly.

Robert was an avid fisherman, but also enjoyed gardening, wood working, the outdoors and most of all, time with his family and friends, including his long time best friend, Timothy Bissonnette of Baldwinville.

Robert had a huge heart and would do anything he could to help someone in need. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none. Always in our heart!

Robert was owner and manager of South Main Auto in Orange and had previously worked as a cabinet maker/ wood worker at C.J. Sprong in Holyoke, the Athol Table Shop, and a CNC machine operator at the L. S. Starrett Co. in Athol.

Calling hours will be held on February 4, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.

Bernice A. Blouin

BERNICE A. (PATENAUDE) BLOUIN
January 10, 1935 ~ January 23, 2023 (Age 88)

WINCHENDON - Bernice A. (Patenaude) Blouin, 88, of Winchendon, died peacefully Monday morning, January 23, 2023 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville.

She was born in Peterborough, NH on January 10, 1935, daughter of the late Sidney and Beatrice (Burgoine) Patenaude and was a resident of Winchendon for most of her life.

Bernice had worked many years ago as a cook at the former Winchendon Hospital and Heywood Hospital. She later worked for several years at New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough, NH until her retirement. She loved to knit and crochet and play bingo. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

She leaves three children, Lana E. Ouellette and husband Michael of Templeton, Susan Tourtellot and husband Lou of Methuen and Debra Hardy and husband Bradley of Rindge, NH; a sister, Cecelia Lapointe of Gardner; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A sister, Madeline Dery, preceded her in death.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

LAURIE J. (TATRO) SONGER
October 18, 1967 ~ January 18, 2023 (Age 55)

Winchendon-Laurie J. (Tatro) Songer, 55, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Gardner Rehab after an illness.

She leaves two sons, Mitchell Songer-Parker of Templeton and Barry Michael Songer-Parker of New Ipswich, NH; one grandson, Kaiden Parker of Templeton; her mother, Lucille (Jacques) Tatro of Rindge, NH, two brothers Bruce Tatro and his wife Pauline of Templeton, and Dennis Tatro of New Ipswich, NH; four sisters, Linda Garney and Steven of Jefferson, Karen Murphy and her husband James of Winchendon, Sandra Quartermouse and Charlie of New Ipswich, NH, and Donna Tatro and her partner Terry of NC, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was born on October 18, 1967, a daughter of the late Donald Tatro.

She lived in Winchendon most of her life and lived in Orange also. She worked for McDonald's.

Laurie loved music, dancing, going to church, her dogs, giving to people, going on vacations to the ocean, and especially loved her family.

Laurie's funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon, in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Laurie's name to Beacon Hospice, 36 Williams Street, Leominster, MA 01453.

Gloria Eddy

GLORIA (CLOUGH) EDDY)
January 22, 2023 (Age 81)

WINCHENDON - Gloria (Clough) Eddy, 81, of Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday evening, January 22, 2023 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville.

She was born in Montague on September 16, 1941, daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Williams) Clough and was a graduate of Pioneer Valley High School in Northfield. She and her late husband had been residents of Winchendon for nearly 50 years.

Gloria had worked as a CNA at Gardner Manor Nursing Home for 20 years as well as Greenfield Hospital and other nursing facilities. Her hobbies were sewing, knitting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Her husband of 62 years, Donald R. Eddy Sr., died in 2022. She leaves three children, Jeffrey A. Eddy and his wife Tracy, Charles F. Eddy and Rebecca G. Harmon and her significant other Robert Carolis, all of Winchendon; her brothers and sisters, Warren Clough of Orange, Marilyn Remillard of No. Hampton, Gerald Clough of Bernardston and Pamela Blynn of Leverett; ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald R. Eddy Jr, a great grandson, Jayden Atwood and a brother, Dale Clough.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M.

Graveside services will be held in the spring in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.
