BETTY M. ALLAIRE
August 29, 1935 ~ March 29, 2023 (Age 87)

WINCHENDON - Betty M. (Connors) Allaire, 87, died peacefully Wednesday morning, March 29, 2023 in her home where she grew up.

Born in Winchendon on August 29, 1935, she was the daughter of Henry J. Connors and Bessie M. (Bosworth) Connors Emery and step father, Howard Emery.

She leaves 5 kids, Donna Gauthier and husband, Randall, of Winchendon, Roger Allaire of Winchendon, Rose Parrott of Winchendon, Pat Allaire and wife, Cathy Sevigny of Winchendon and Wayne Allaire of Winchendon; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her ex-husband, Aurele Ernest "Pinball" Allaire in April of 1980, as well as a brother, Henry L. Connors, in 1981.

After leaving school in the 10th grade, Betty worked at the Dress Shop in Winchendon for 8 years. She raised her children and then worked as a cafeteria worker for Winchendon Public School part time. For 18 years, she worked as a driver for the Council on Aging in Winchendon which she enjoyed very much.

She was a lifetime member of V.F.W and a member of the Winchendon Garden Club.

Betty enjoyed time with her family, especially at Easter and Christmas when they were all together. Betty's whole world was her family which she loved with all her heart.

There are no calling hours and family services will be private.

Interment will be private in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.

Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is assisting the family.
