OWEN WILLIAM HART
March 2, 1945 ~ December 22, 2022 (Age 77)

Owen Hart, 77, of Winchendon MA, passed away on December 25, 2022 in his home after a valiant battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born on March 2, 1945 in Murray Utah to the late Amos and Marie (Smith) Hart. Eldest of 7 children, Owen grew up in Sandy Utah and graduated from Jordon High School. He served and was honorably discharge from the United States Army.

While stationed at Fort Devens, Owen met the love of his life, Patricia (Brooks) Hart. They married on August 17, 1968 and lived in Fitchburg MA to raise their family.

Owen worked for 30 years as a Local 39 Union Laborer. He spent many wonderful years camping in Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire with his family and friends. He also enjoyed candlepin bowling, hunting and fishing.

Owen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Hart of Winchendon MA, his 2 sons, Christopher of Winchendon, MA, and Daniel of Leominster, MA along with 7 Grandchildren: Elizabeth, Dennis, Michael, Cameron, Lucas, Gabrielle and Daniel and 6 Great Grandchildren and his siblings: Calvin, Alan, Terry, Brent and Mina.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service to be held at a later date.

Nancy Burwell DiBiaso

NANCY (PINKY) BURWELL DIBIASO
November 7, 1946 ~ April 28, 2023 (Age 76)

Nancy (Pinky) Burwell DiBiaso of East Haven passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at her home in East Haven.

She was the beloved wife of Donald DiBiaso. She was the mother of Marlene Brown (Timothy) of Clinton, Edwin Burwell Jr. (Lori) of Milford, and Kevin Burwell of Bristol. She was the sister of Howard E. Reynolds Jr. of Branford, Stephen Patrick Reynolds of Alstead, NH, and Terri Flint of Winchendon, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lexie, Jake, Mackenzie, Dylan, and Chase Burwell.

Nancy was born in East Haven on November 7, 1946, a daughter of Howard and Agnes Moriarty Reynolds. She was a pharmacy technician for many years, working for Town Pharmacy in Branford and also for CVS.

Janet M. Mann

JANET M. MANN
May 13, 1947 ~ April 28, 2023 (Age 76)

BALDWINVILLE, MA - Janet M. (Letourneau) Mann, died on Friday, April 28, 2023 at home, peacefully with family after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.

Janet was born May 13, 1947 in Winchendon, MA to Joseph R. and Julia D. (Augustine) Letourneau.

Janet's 50-year career in the retail lumber industry started in the summer of 1968, at T.S. Mann Lumber in Athol, later becoming manager and owner of the Orange MA location and ended in 2018, retiring as owner of County Line Lumber in Athol.

She will be best remembered for her service work to the community. Most notably, she was a Founder of the Athol Area United way and would also be a Campaign Chair and President of The Board. She also served on the Board of Trustees of Athol Memorial Hospital, as well as Board of Directors of the Athol YMCA and United Way of North Central MA. She also was a member or volunteered with many local service organizations including the local Red Cross, Athol Women's Club, and Red Hat Society, to name a few. She graduated Athol High school, in the notable class of 1965.

Janet lived a full life and her many interests include fishing at Sportsman's Pond and trying her hand at the casino. She loved to cook, and also go out to dinner with family and friends. Her favorite restaurant was one she had never been to before; she loved trying new places to eat, drink, and enjoy time with family and friends. Her last meal was the famous family recipe of Sunday morning Popovers and was sure to offer advice on how to make them come out just right. And they did. Not one to have regrets, Janet's last tear to fall down her cheek was a tear of joy after seeing the beautiful video and photos of her granddaughter's recent wedding.

Janet leaves four siblings; Joe Letourneau and wife Judy of Arizona. Anna Upshaw and husband Arthur of Florida, Gloria Laffond and husband Roger of Athol, as well as her brother John Letourneau of Athol. Janet leaves three sons, Tom Mann and wife Theresa of Athol, Eric Mann of Florida, and Casey Mann, also of Florida. She leaves two granddaughters; Mackenzie Kendrick and husband Jack of Arizona, and Jessica Mann and fiancé Lennon Robichaud of Texas. And of course, many beloved nieces and nephews. She was previously married to Thomas "Sid" Mann for 33 years. Her loving partner of many years, Gene Parmenter of Baldwinville, will miss her sadly.

Calling hours will be Thursday May 11, 2023 from 5-7 p.m., at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

Services will be at the Witty's Funeral Home in Orange on Friday May 12, 2023 at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol, MA.

Debra J. Pooler

DEBRA J. POOLER
October 11, 1958 ~ April 18, 2023 (Age 64)

WINCHENDON - Debra J. Pooler, 64, wife of Robert Pooler of Winchendon passed away on April 18th 2023 from a blood clot in her lung and a long battle with cancer.

Debra was born on October 11th, 1958, in Concord, VT.

Debra is preceded by her father Iveing Gilchrist.

Debra leaves behind her mother, Marie J Hebert of Douglas; her loving husband and best friend, Robert Pooler of Winchendon; her son, Daniel Smith of Winchendon; her daughter, Karleen Winter of Auburn, her loving daughter, Krysta Smith of Winchendon, and 11 grandchildren.

Richard Brow

RICHARD "DICK" BROW
November 18, 1947 ~ April 17, 2023 (Age 75)

Stratham - Richard E. (Dick) Brow, 75, of Stratham passed away on April 17, 2023.

Dick was born on November 18, 1947, in Winchendon, Massachusetts, to Raymond and Kathleen (Chard) Brow. Growing up in Winchendon, Dick attended the town's public schools and played youth sports, where he exceled as a swimmer, later serving as a lifeguard at a local beach. He also was actively involved in scouting and earned the distinction of Eagle Scout. As a teenager Dick attended Murdock High School, Class of 1965, where he was a standout athlete, particularly in basketball. Many have described Dick as being one of the best basketball players that Murdock produced, and in consecutive years he was selected for the Wachusett League all-star team.

After studying to become a mechanical draftsman, Dick enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in 1967, where he served as an infantryman and eventually earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. In April 1971, he joined the Winchendon Police Department as a patrol officer. In September 1973, Dick joined the New Hampshire State Police, to which he remained devoted for the rest of his life. During his career with the State Police, Dick served as a Trooper at Troop A in Epping, a corporal at Troop E in Tamworth and Troop G in Bow, and a sergeant at Troop C in Keene and Headquarters in Concord. After having the honor of serving on Governor John Sununu's executive security team, Dick returned to Troop A in Epping as a patrol sergeant and eventually retired as Assistant Troop Commander. Dick also served on the State Police SWAT team and Motorcycle Unit. Following his retirement from the State Police in 1995, Dick served as a bailiff for the Rockingham Superior Court. In total, Dick devoted 32 years to law enforcement and public safety.

Dick is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Kathleen Brow, sister Kathleen Morris and brother-in-law John Morris. Survivors include: son Daniel (Laura) Brow; grandchildren Conor (Maryssa) Brow, and Nora Brow; and great grandson Finley Brow.

A service is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 3:30 PM at J. Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. A visitation will follow the scheduled service from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at J. Verne Wood.

Interment will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery, Glenallen Street in Winchendon, MA.

Henriette G. Davis

HENRIETTE G. DAVIS
March 21, 1938 ~ April 27, 2023 (Age 85)

ASHBY: Henriette G. (Beaudoin) Davis, 85, of Ashby, died Thursday, April 27, 2023 at University of Massachusetts – Memorial Hospital, Worcester. Her husband, of 52 years, Gerald A. Davis, died in August 2014. Mrs. Davis was born in Sanford, Maine, March 21, 1938 a daughter of Randolf and Lucia (Tardiff) Beaudoin and resided in Ashby for over 60 years. For fifteen years Mrs. Davis held several positions at Sterilite Corporation in Townsend including an injection moulder and floor person before retiring in 2010 as a fork truck driver. She also worked many years with her husband in the operation of Davis Farm in Ashby. She leaves her son, William A. Davis of Ashby; her daughter, Lynn A. Davis of Cheboygan, Michigan and her brother, Richard Beaudoin of New Ipswich, NH. She was the sister of the late Randolf Beaudoin and Robert Beaudoin both of New Ipswich, NH and Patricia Maki of Winchendon.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2023 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street (Rte 119) Townsend Center. www.andersonfuneral.com. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Ashby. Mrs. Davis' family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation period Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of the service.

Kenneth J. Moreau

KENNETH J. MOREAU
May 4, 1933 ~ April 27, 2023 (Age 89)

Franklin - Kenneth J. Moreau, 89, died Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Willows at Whitney Place in Medway.

He leaves his wife Elise (Frodsham) Moreau; two sons, Kevin J. Moreau and his wife Arlene L. of Medway, and Marc L. Moreau of Marlborough; two grandchildren, Kevin S. Moreau and Sarah A. Moreau, and one great-grandchild, Harley L. Moreau.

He was born in Winchendon on May 4, 1933, a son of the late Zephrine and Florida (Andreoni) Moreau. He was a 1951, graduate of Murdock High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Mathieu Ford, and then for Paine Furniture and retired from Cabot House Furniture, as a salesman.

He was an avid Stamp Collector and enjoyed traveling and especially his wife.

His funeral services and burial will be private.

CHRISTINE C. (COUTURE) MURDOCK
January 22, 1944 ~ April 29, 2023 (Age 79)

WINCHENDON - Christine C. (Couture) Murdock, 79, died Saturday, April 29, 2023, at her home after an illness.

She was the wife of the late Sidney A. Murdock.

Christine leaves four children, Brenda Murdock, and her significant other Billy Tatro of Rindge, Sharon Marland and her significant other Dave Muse of Gardner, Edward Murdock and his wife Jennifer of Winchendon, and Anne Murdock and her significant other Greg Voisine of Baldwinville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; Edyth Raleigh of Dublin, NH, and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Winchendon on January 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Henry S. and Adelle (Locke) Couture. She was a graduate of Murdock High School. She was a lifelong resident of Winchendon. Christine worked for Mylec for many years as an assembler.

She enjoyed going bike riding and going to craft fairs.

Her funeral services will be held privately at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Winchendon.

July 10, 1934 ~ April 30, 2023 (Age 88)

Rindge, NH - Rosalie Mary Tanso, 88, of Rindge, NH formerly of Gardner, died Sunday, peacefully surrounded by family, on April 30, 2023.

She was born in Gardner on Tuesday, July 10th, 1934, the daughter of the late Frank Alisauskas and Marcellina J Alisauskas. Rosalie attended schools in Gardner and went on to the Mansfield Beauty Academy in Boston.

She worked at the Mansfield Beauty Academy, MWCC Cafeteria, Mr. Ernes Couiffur, and Michelle-Lee's until her retirement. She was a member of the Lithuanian Club in Gardner, she enjoyed crocheting, crafts, casinos (loved her slot machines), dancing, dominos, playing cards, family gatherings, beaches, love stories, old westerns, country music concerts (Indian Ranch), fishing paddle boating and traveling.

She leaves three daughters, Rosemarie (Tanso) Couture and her husband Alan R. of Rindge, NH, Diana (Tanso) Sundblom and her partner David Stubbs of Templeton, Cathy Tanso of Winchendon; one son, Michael J. Tanso III and his wife Linda of Gardner; sister-in-law, Paulette Alisauskas of Westminster; grandchildren, Sheila M. Cyganiewicz and her husband Chris Nuttle of Manor, TX, NH, Daryl Sundblom of Templeton, Erin Lashua of Worcester, Elizabeth Lashua of Lowell, Dustin Pillman of Illinois; step-grandchildren, Jason Boudreau and his wife Stacy North; great-grandchildren, Angel Sundblom, Jaeda Lashua, Isaiah Lashua, Anaya Butler, Xavier Morillo; step great grandchildren, Robin Garcia, Dakota Garcia, Charlie Garcia, Tyler Boudreau, Tara Boudreau, Nathan Boudreau; dear friend, Barbara Croteau of Baldwinville and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Tanso, Jr.; by her partner of many years, James Owen; by her dear brother Daniel H Alisauskas and her sister Nellie Ann Arsenault and by her dear friend, Steve Owen.

Funeral services and burial in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner will be private.
