Auditions for "Hello, Dolly!" at Theatre at the Mount

Theatre at the Mount, Gardner, Massachusetts announces auditions for its August production of Hello Dolly. Director Joel Seger, Music Director John Leslie and Choreographer Alison Hall are looking for a cast of 12 principal adults and large ensemble.

Dolly Levi is a widow, matchmaker, and a professional meddler who ‘arranges things.' Everything changes when she decides that the next match, she needs to make is to find someone for herself! Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Hello Dolly! is boisterous and charming from start to finish, featuring such memorable songs as Before the Parade Passes By," "It Only Takes a Moment," "It Takes a Woman," and—of course—the title number. "It's nice to have you back where you belong!"

Auditions are Tuesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 25 at 7PM sharp in room A110 at Mount Wachusett Community College. Proof of vaccination is required to audition. All auditions are by appointment only.

To schedule an audition appointment, call 978 630-9388 or email your request to box-office@mwcc.mass.edu

Please prepare a short vocal selection in the style of the show that shows your abilities and range (bring sheet music if selection is not from the show). An accompanist will be provided. Expect a dance audition and cold-readings from the script.

Performances of Hello Dolly! are August 11, 12, 18, 19 @ 7:30PM; August 20 @ 2PM

Rehearsal Schedule: Sundays from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00PM to 10PM.
