JAMIE L. JEAN
July 22, 1982 ~ May 26, 2023 (Age 40)

WINCHENDON - Jamie L. Jean, 40, of Winchendon died unexpectedly Friday, May 26, 2023 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

He was born in Gardner on July 22, 1982, son of Barry P. and Deborah (Warner) Jean of Winchendon and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon. Jamie had worked at Tire Warehouse in Gardner and had also worked for his uncle's carpentry company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and camping. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Jamie leaves a daughter, Alora Jean and her mother and his longtime girlfriend, Kathryn Poole of Fitzwilliam, NH; a brother Christopher Jean and wife Samantha of Orange, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and two nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

JEANETTE L. (MORIN) RICORD
September 23, 1942 ~ May 29, 2023 (Age 80)

GARDNER - Jeanette L. (Morin) Ricord, 80, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, May 29, 2023 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

She was born in Gardner on September 23, 1942, daughter of the late Roland and Evelyn (Laplante) Morin and was a 1960 graduate of Gardner High School.

Jeanette worked many years ago at the former Heywood Wakefield Furniture Company and then operated her own day care in Winchendon for over 30 years. She was a former member of the Winchendon Women's Club. Jeanette enjoyed writing and had authored two books. She also enjoyed fishing, hiking and spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed by all, who knew and loved her.

Her husband of 61 years, Phillip R. Ricord, died in December. She leaves four children, Joann McColgan and husband Jim of Tewksbury, Michael Ricord and wife Beth of Winchendon, John Ricord and partner Donna of Winchendon and Susan Sheridan and partner Steve of Leominster; one brother, Roger H. Morin of FL; twelve grandchildren, Meghan, Anthony, Tim, Sarah, Steven, Joshua, Jeremy, Nicole, Daniel, Jenny, Heather and Billy; two great grandchildren, Isabelle and Paxton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Paul Morin.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.

Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
