Carolyn W. Fay

CAROLYN W. (BOURQUE) FAY
December 25, 1938 ~ August 9, 2023 (Age 84)

Bernardston - Carolyn W. (Bourque) Fay, 84, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield after an illness.

She leaves her three sons, Bruce Hietala and his wife Barbara of Winchendon, Craig Hietala and his wife Bernadette of Fitzwilliam, NH, and Glenn Belliveau and his partner Brandi Manca of Athol, six grandchildren, Michael, Alison, Mitchel, Eliesa, Madeline and Nina; several great-grandchildren; one brother Michael Bourque of AZ, and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was born in Fitchburg on December 25, 1938 a daughter of the late Edmond and Irene (L'Abbe) Bourque. She attended schools in Lunenburg. She worked as a waitress for Friendly's in Gardner and in Greenfield for 30 years.

She was a member of the Bernardston Senior Center, and St. Patrick's Church in Northfield. She enjoyed gardening, her Koi Fish, playing word games, especially Scrabble. Most importantly was her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Carolyn's name to Carl E. Dahl House, 827 Green Street, Gardner, MA 01440.

Barbara L. Worn

BARBARA L. WORN
October 18, 1949 ~ August 9, 2023 (Age 73)

Winchendon - Barbara L. (Finn) Worn, 73, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Heywood Hospital after an illness.

She was the wife of 51 years to the late Michael M. Worn.

Barbara leaves her four children, Daniel Owen Worn, Tamatha Ann Worn, both of Winchendon; David Michael Worn of TN, and Carl William Worn and his wife Jessica of Williamstown, VT; four grandchildren, Dakota, Timmy, Michael, and Little Ricky; three sisters, Elizabeth Nalette and Dorothy Finn, both of Winchendon, and Rachel Finn of Gardner; three nieces, Michelle Smith, Pam Fournier and her husband Joe, and Lisa Archambault and her husband Jim.

She is predeceased by one sister, Ann Finn.

Barbara was born in Winchendon on October 18, 1949, a daughter of the late Daniel and Frances (Whitney) Finn. She was a 1967 graduate of Murdock High School. She worked as a Lead for Teleflex Medical for 20 years.

She enjoyed square dancing, bowling, going to Foxwoods, and pig roasts. Most of all she loved to play with her grandchildren, and spending time with her family, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gardner Fish and Gun Club, 538 Clark St, Gardner, MA 01440.

Jeffrey Alan Girouard

JEFFREY ALAN GIROUARD
April 30, 1962 ~ August 13, 2023 (Age 61)

Gardner - Jeffrey Alan Girouard, 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Fitchburg Healthcare after an illness. He leaves his wife, Kathaleen (Wilder) Girouard; his mother Arlene Josephine (Jazakewicz) Girouard of Gardner, two daughters, Stephanie Girouard and her fiance James Roncarati of Westfield, MA, Jennifer Girouard of Phillipston, Jessica Tervo and significant other Jeremy Hart of Winchendon, Amy Allen and her husband William Allen of Gardner, and grandchildren Bradley, Tanner, Carter, Beckett, and Nora, due in September.

He was born in Gardner on April 30, 1962, a son of the late Raymond Girouard.

He was a 1981 graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School.

He served in the US Army as an SP4 from 1981-1984. He worked as a truck mechanic for Vacuum Truck Rentals in Northborough. He could often be found curled up in a warm blanket with his cats on a Sunday afternoon watching the Nascar race or the Patriots game.

A memorial service will be held on August 22, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
