GARY W. DRUDI
August 20, 1946 ~ October 13, 2023 (Age 77)

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Gary W. Drudi on October 13, 2023.

Gary was born and proudly raised in Winchendon on August 20, 1946. He resided in Fitzwilliam, NH for the past 40 years. He graduated from Murdock High School with the class of 1964. He excelled in sports, especially football and baseball, and continued to play in several area men's leagues.

After graduating from college with a degree in business technology, Gary enjoyed his career for 40 years as a crew leader for the former Mass Electric and current National Grid where he made lifelong friendships. Gary served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1967-1973.

Gary was an outdoor enthusiast, sharing this passion with his son Travis. He loved riding his Harley, snowmobiling, and hunting in his younger years. Later he enjoyed being home spending time with family, his four-legged companions, and eating ice cream daily while listening to his oldies. He always had a story to tell, whether it was his DJ days at the Clark, his shenanigans growing up, fond memories on Lake Monomonac, or the old days with the Mass Electric guys.

Gary was a lifelong member of the Winchendon Rod & Gun Club and American Legion Post 193 where he enjoyed catching up with his buddies. His world was his family. Gary will be remembered for his big heart and lots of love for everyone he knew.

Gary is predeceased by his beloved parents, Armando and Elizabeth Drudi.

He is survived by his cherished wife of 40 years, Kimberly Drudi; his beloved son Travis Drudi and his wife Karen; his grandchildren Mason, Jack, and Oaklyn Drudi, whom he adored; his sister-in-law Tammy Keck and companion Donald Tardy; along with several cousins.

Gary's calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.

A Funeral will be held at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 12:00 PM followed by his burial at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Gary's name to the Murdock Alumni Scholarship Fund c/o Athol Savings Bank, 112 Central Street, Winchendon MA 01475.

BETTY ANNE EDWARDS
July 13, 1940 ~ October 12, 2023 (Age 83)

Betty Anne Edwards, 83, formally of Winchendon, Ma passed away on October 12, 2023 at Quabbin Valley Nursing Home in Athol, Ma. Betty was born on July 13, 1940. Betty was a lifelong resident of Winchendon, Ma. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center as well as with her family.

Betty leaves behind a sister, Arline Foley of Orange, Ma; as well as several nieces and nephews of which she adored, especially TJ which she shared the same birthday. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Burial will be private at a date yet to be determined.

Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon is assisting with arrangements.
