DORENE MAHEN
April 6, 1970 ~ February 19, 2024 (Age 53)

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dorene Mahan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Born in Worcester, MA, on April 6, 1970, Dorene was a beacon of love and kindness, whose spirit touched all who knew her. She had an infectious zest for life and a heart that knew no bounds. Her absence leaves a void in the lives of those she touched, but her memory will forever be a treasure in their hearts.

Dorene was a woman of many talents and a heart full of compassion. As a graduate of South Community High School, Worcester, she carried her passion for helping others into her work at Broadview Assisted Living. Her loving nature was also evident in her personal life, as she was the biggest cheerleader for her children's baseball and softball games. Dorene's culinary skills were a delight to her family and friends, her dishes were always a heartwarming treat. Dorene's love for her family, especially her grandson, and her joy of traveling to Cape Cod and exploring the New England Coast, were reflections of her vibrant personality and the love she spread to everyone around her.

Dorene is survived by her husband, Scott Mahan; her children, Jessica, Nathan, and Jacob Mahan; her grandson Cameron Farnsworth; her parents, Robert Daly; and her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Steve Belanger. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristin Mahan. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia Daly.

Dorene’s life was a testament to the fact that it’s not the years in life, but the life in those years that truly matters. Her memory will forever be cherished by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. As we remember Dorene, we invite you to share your memories, stories, and photos on her memorial page. This is a space where we can come together to celebrate her life and the love she spread in this world. Please visit, www.stone-ladeau.com
