Take the TOY TOWN TROLLEY On Saturdays Beginning January 11! FREE!

Beginning on Saturday, January 11, the Toy Town Trolley will be making three circuits around Winchendon and up to the Rindge shopping areas every Saturday. Rides are FREE to all residents! This service is funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and sponsored by the Town of Winchendon, the Winchendon CAC, the Winchendon Council on Aging and the Winchendon CCAP Task Force.

NOTE: ORIGINAL SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED. Each circuit will start at Hyde Park and stop at the end of Pearl Drive, the Town Hall bus shelter, Dollar Tree Plaza, the YMCA/GFA bus shelter, CVS, the fire station bus shelter, Ipswich Drive, the end of Ready Drive, the end of Goodrich Drive and the Winchendon Community Park. From there the trolley will head up 202 (so you don't have to!) and stop to let off shoppers at Tractor Supply, Market Basket/Marshalls, Walmart and Hannaford. It then returns to Not Just Produced and Sippin' Serendipity and immediately starts its next circuit with Hyde Park. Shoppers who were let off on the first through fourth circuits can reboard the trolley for home when it returns.

The first circuit starts at Hyde Park at 9:15 a.m. and the last circuit leaves Hannaford at 2:51 p.m.

But what mattered most to Sonja were her beloved grandchildren. The love and joy they brought to her life were immeasurable. Her laughter, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed, but forever cherished by those who were fortunate to know her.

Karla Cloutier

KARLA J. CLOUTIER
June 23, 1968 ~ March 19, 2025 (Age 56)

Well, hello there, I'm Karla Cloutier, also known to many as Ma, Mamma, Mamma Dukes, KayKay, and MiMi. I've always been a thrill-seeker, I've embarked on my final adventure on March 19, 2025. I was born in the humble town of Gardner, MA on June 23, 1968, and I've called Winchendon, Massachusetts my home. I've lived a resilient life, full of twists and turns, and I've done it all with a supportive heart and loving nature.

I've always been a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. After I graduated from Murdock High School, I earned an associate's degree in Accounting. But the call of the barber's chair was too strong to resist, and I became a Master Barber, serving the good folks at Dick's Place until I retired. When I wasn't wielding a pair of clippers, you could find me lost in a good book, tending to my garden, or out in the wild, with my toes in the sand swimming, riding motorcycles, or watching a good game of football. But of all the things I loved, family mattered most to me.

I leave behind my three treasures, Scott, Jaclyn, and Amber Cloutier, my children who have always been the apple of my eye. I'm survived by my mother, Nancy Gordon as well as my little brother David M Gordon. My two wonderful grandchildren, Anthony and Kaliiya Burdell. My father, Richard Gordon, and my sisters, Leann Marie Gordon, Laura Gordon, started this journey before me, and I'm sure they're waiting for me with open arms.

Come celebrate my life and share your memories of me at the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., Winchendon, on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 5:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00am at the same location, followed by the burial at Riverside Cemetery, 38 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475.

I encourage you all to share your memories and upload photos of our times together on my memorial page. It's been a wild ride, and I'm thankful for every moment.
