WALTER A. PLANTE
February 14, 1932 ~ June 25, 2021 (Age 89)

WINCHENDON - Walter A. Plante, 89, of 3 Tucker Street, died peacefully Friday morning, June 25, 2021 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville.

He was born in Winchendon on February 14, 1932, son of the late George and Josephine (Girouard) Plante and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.

Walter worked for Harrington and Richardson Rifle Co. for several years until his retirement. He previously worked at Temple Stuart Furniture Co and then as an assembler at Digital. His hobbies included gardening and spending time with his family. Walter was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

He leaves his wife, Claudette (Lacroix) Plante; three children, Anne-Marie C. Plante of Winchendon, Joyce Plante of Clinton and Christopher Plante of Winchendon; his brothers and sisters, Arthur Plante, Anita Duplease, Francis Plante, Eugene Plante, Alice Tousignant and Beatrice Morgan, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Plante and sisters, Antoinette Plante, Florence Plante and Claire Johnson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10 A.M. in Immaculate heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 5 to 7 P.M.

THERESA M. CORMIER
November 27, 1952 ~ June 28, 2021 (Age 68)

WINCHENDON - Theresa M. (Regan) Cormier, 68, of Winchendon, died peacefully Monday evening, June 28, 2021 in UMASS Memorial Hospital, Memorial Campus, Worcester.

She was born in Springfield, VT on November 27, 1952, daughter of the late Robert and Mary E. (Bouchard) Regan and grew up in Leominster, where she attended Leominster High School.

Theresa had worked as a molder at E.B. Kingman in Leominster. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included playing bingo at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Leominster and going to casinos.

She leaves her husband of 50 years, Ronald J. Cormier; three daughters, Tacia Arsenault and her husband David of Ashburnham, Rhonda Gallant and her husband Stephen of Winchendon and Dawn Cormier of Winchendon; five grandchildren, Charlie, Brandee, Tyler, Colby and Teah; a great granddaughter, Izabella; a brother, Leslie R. Regan and his wife Donna of Leominster, Linda Will and her husband Ty of VT and Cynthia Rocheleau of CA and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Brenda Livi, preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 1 P.M. in Riverside Cemetery, Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
