Valentine's Week Concerts at The Park Theatre

Singer Marlena Phillips & Young Sinatra Tribute

JAFFREY, New Hampshire (February 7, 2022) Love will be in the air when The Park Theatre celebrates Valentine's Day week with two live concerts.

On Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14, at 7:30 p.m., acclaimed singer Marlena Phillips will sing "The World's Greatest Love Songs." Marlena is a full-time Singer/Songwriter/Pianist based in New Hampshire. Marlena has played The Palace Theatre, Rex Theatre, Flying Monkey Performance Center, Winnipesaukee Playhouse, and Newport Grand Casino. Marlena is an entertainer who uplifts others with a unique & expressive voice, infectious songs, and a fun-loving stage presence. Her Valentine's Day performance is bound to be a special night for couples celebrating the annual day of love.

Frank Sinatra will be celebrated in a tribute performance on Wednesday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. "Young Sinatra," starring Tony Di Meglio, star of the New York's longest currently running Rat Pack show, The Rat Pack Undead, brings Sinatra to The Park Theatre stage! Singing songs made famous by "Ol' Blue Eyes," Tony Di Meglio sings songs such as "A Foggy Day," "I'll Be Seeing You," "Summer Wind," "Witchcraft," and many more, plus memorable songs for Valentine's Day. This Young Sinatra is bound to have all Sinatra lovers singing the tunes once again. Don't miss this exceptional tribute to the Chairman of the Board. "Young Sinatra" has been on tour all over the Northeast, and Jaffrey is the latest stop.

Both concerts will be performed in the Michael B. King Auditorium at The Park Theatre. Tickets for Marlena Phillips are $19, and tickets for Young Sinatra/Tony Di Meglio are $25. They can be purchased online at theparktheatre.org, via phone (603) 532-8888, or at the theatre box office at 19 Main Street in Jaffrey, NH. Masks are mandatory at all Park Theatre events. The Park Theatre is 95 minutes from downtown Boston.

Nova Arts Events for This Weekend

Nova Arts is proud to continue in person entertainment at 48 Emerald St in Keene NH!

On Friday, February 11, Apple Hill String Quartet and Steven Max will be playing. Saturday, February 12, there will be a launch party to celebrate our new collaborative space featuring Billies and Tilli and Wakadoodles.

Apple Hill exists to perform, teach and broaden the appreciation of chamber music cultivating connection and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds, centered around the values of acceptance, inclusivity, creative expression, and encouragement. Their program for the evening will feature a number of works, including the premiere of Harrisville composer Miriam Sharrock's piece Remembrance. Steven Max, a New York City native, is a pianist specializing in 20th and 21st century music and the works of American composers, and will be performing composer Frederic Rzwski's piece, The People United Will Never Be Defeated!

Come to the launch party for Billies and Tilli & Wakadoodles, which is a new space located inside our Emerald St. location. Join Priya and Mary in the Brewbakers Cafe for a variety of floral and craft workshops from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Billies and Tilli is a floral and plant studio. They also host the collaborative art studio Wakadoodles.

That Thing In The Spring Comes to Keene!

On Monday February 14, we will be announcing the lineup for the next Thing in The Spring, happening May 19 through the 22 in Keene, at Nova Arts.

The Thing in The Spring is an annual music and arts festival that began in Peterborough in 2008. With Nova Arts founded with a similar mission, under the umbrella of Arts Alive, this next chapter of the Thing is set to flourish and grow here in Keene.

A limited number of Weekend Passes, as well as tickets for each individual day will soon be available online.
