Spectacular Science Show Coming to the Beals Memorial Library

Who's there with the rainbow hair? It's Kosmic Kelly! With her lab coat and collection of beakers, she's a science whiz who'll make things fizz! On Saturday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m., she's heading to the Beals Memorial Library in Winchendon to entertain kids and their grown-ups with her Spectacular Science Show.

Kosmic Kelly's Spectacular Science Show is an engaging, interactive science experience. Through her wacky and energetic "Kosmic Kelly" persona, long-time educator, Kelly Lavoie, offers children and their families a fun and creative way of learning science. She'll make things bubble and pop with exciting and entertaining experiments such as fizzy rainbow volcanoes, elephants' toothpaste, gaseous bubbling beakers, bubble snakes, and more! Kelly Lavoie has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and has been teaching and entertaining throughout Central Massachusetts for more than 15 years.

This program is free and open to attend and is presented in partnership with the Winchendon Coordinated Family and Community Engage (CFCE), which is funded by a grant through the MA Department of Early Education and Care and Winchendon Public Schools.

The Beals Memorial Library is located at 50 Pleasant Street in Winchendon. For more information, contact the library at 978-297-0300 or visit their website at bealslibrary.org.
