Maureen Anne Intelisano

MAUREEN ANNE INTELISANO
November 10, 1956 ~ July 8, 2022 (Age 65)

Maureen Anne Intelisano, 65, of Pittsfield passed away peacefully Friday evening, July 8, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center with her family at her side.

She was born in Pittsfield, MA on November 10, 1956, to the late Leo K. and Margaret (Evans) Betters. Later in life, Maureen selflessly took her parents into her home and lovingly cared for them through their illnesses. She will now join them in eternal life.

Maureen had worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, most recently retiring from the office of Dr. Albert Bravo.

Among many hobbies, she enjoyed crocheting and playing UNO with her close friend, JoAnn Hassan, cruise trip vacations with her close friends Diane and Judy, coloring, and, of course, making her famous meatballs and spaghetti sauce.

Maureen's greatest pleasure, however, came from spending time with her family and close friends. She treasured each and every moment spent at the Lake House, on board "Bailey James" with her husband, her beloved grandson, Jacob and her dog, Thunder.

Maureen leaves her husband, David M. Intelisano, Sr., owner of DM Intelisano Construction, with whom she, on July 1, 2022, celebrated her 44th wedding anniversary. She leaves behind her three children; David Intelisano Jr. of Pittsfield; Mark J Intelisano, owner of MJI Transport, and wife Trisha of Savoy; daughter Kellie Sova and husband Tim of Pittsfield, Grandson, Jacob Sova. One brother, Robert Betters and wife Joan of Charlton, MA; One sister, Ellen Goderre and husband Michael of Winchendon, MA as well as many nieces and nephews.

Maureen will be remembered for her loving, caring nature; always putting others before herself, always grateful. She had an undying and devoted love for her husband, children, grandchildren (born and soon to be born) and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hafez Alsmaan and the critical care team from BMC for the competent, compassionate care they so genuinely rendered to Maureen and her family.

Funeral services for Mrs. Maureen Anne Intelisano will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by the Rev. A. Peter Gregory, Pastor Emeritus of St. Charles Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, July 18, 2022, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield MA 01201. James J. Homon

JAMES J. HOMON
July 2, 1969 ~ July 18, 2022 (Age 53)

WINCHENDON - James John "Jim" Homon, age 53, passed away Monday evening, July 18, 2022 at 9:10 P.M. after a long and courageous fight with cancer. He was surrounded by his brother William, his sister in-law Diane, and his dear friend Amy Couture. Jim was a lifetime resident of Winchendon MA. Jim was born at Henry Heyward Hospital in Gardner Ma on Thursday July 2, 1970 and attended Murdock High School.

In his early years Jim loved hunting and fishing. He gave up hunting but continued to fish his entire life. He also loved music. He loved attending live concerts and traveled to many venues to see shows. After being diagnosed with cancer and learning his life was shortened, he took 4 trips to see the country. It helped him come to terms with mortality.

He worked interior construction for many years before becoming a store manager at Nouria Energy of Worcester.

Jim is predeceased by his older brother Edward J. Homon, his father Joseph A Homon, and his mother Lorraine (Pelkey) Homon. He is survived by his other older brother William A. Homon and his wife Diane Prentice of Clinton. He also leaves 4 nieces. Krystal Homon and her husband Bryan Fratoni of Taftville Ct. Christina Homon of Gardner Ma. Shelby Homon of Winchendon Ma. and Ashleigh Homon-Rahall and her husband Patrick Rahall.

He also leaves one great niece, Naomi Theriault, and two great nephews, Zachary Theriault of Gardner, and Alexander (Xander) Fratoni of Taftville Ct.

James wishes for a cremation will be filled. A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Lawrence D. Burns

LAWRENCE D. BURNS
July 14, 1956 ~ June 28, 2022 (Age 85)

Punta Gorda, Florida - Lawrence D Burns, 85, passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side at Shore Point/Bayfront Hospital, Punta Gorda, Fl. on 6/28/2022 after an illness.

Larry was born on July 14, 1936, in Fitchburg, MA, son of Harold and Bertha (Rahmberg) Burns. Larry graduated from St. Bernard's High School where he excelled in football. He served in the US Army from 1954-1956. Larry lived in Fitchburg and Westminster before moving to Florida in 1988. He and Dell enjoyed many years of retirement and good times with good friends and family.

He had worked at Shorepoint-Bayfront Hospital for 13 years and was affectionately known as Mr. Larry.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Adelma (Pirani) Burns of Punta Gorda, FL. 4 children, Matthew Burns (Linda) of Winchendon, Thomas Burns (Brenda) of Leominster, Patricia Hurley (Paul) of Lunenburg and Frances Wilbur of Fitchburg. 6 grandchildren, Jeffrey Hurley (Melissa), Erin Cannon (Timothy), Sean Wilbur (Jodie), Matthew Wilbur (Megan), Hannah and Jake Burns. 7 great grandchildren, James, Caleb, Caitlin, Megan, Ella, Layla, Sydney and baby Emma due in September. He leaves a sister, Margaret Miln, brothers in law, Joseph Pirani and Douglas Pirani (Phyllis) all of Fitchburg, many nephews, nieces and cousins. He is predeased by his parents, his sister Joan Burns in 2021 and son in law Bruce Wilbur in 2022.

The family would like to thank Shorepoint /Bayfront Hospital and Tidewell Hospice for helping to make Dad's last journey as peaceful as possible. Special thanks also to Alice and Ed Beyer for your love and support.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday , July 23, 2022 at 11 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St, Leominster, MA 01453. Burial wil be at a later date at te Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetary in Winchendon, MA.

David McCaw

DAVID McCAW
December 5, 1926 ~ July 10, 2022 (Age 95)

David McCaw, 95, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2022, at home with his grandson David R McCaw and his grandson's wife Elizabeth.

He was preceded in death by his wife Enid and their son David McCaw Jr. He is survived by daughters Linda, Diane, and Shannon; and sons Albert "Buddy", Randal, and Mark; as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

David was born to parents Manuel and Callie McCaw, on December 5th, 1926, in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky.

At the age of 17, David enlisted in the United States Army and served honorably during World War II. As a soldier in the 79th division, he saw action and served with distinction across Normandy and into the Rhineland.

He also served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Japan.

After his military service, David married Enid, his wife of 60 years, in 1949. They eventually settled in Winchendon, Massachusetts. He worked for 36 years as a millwright and maintenance superintendent at the Seaman Paper Mill in Otter River. The couple retired to Florida and eventually moved to Georgia.

David actively spent his time in Georgia tending to his lawn and garden while looking forward to family visits and gatherings. He was always eager to lend a helping hand. Often saying, "there's no job I haven't done and no job I can't do".

David McCaw was known to gratefully express, in a cheerful tone, that he had lived a full life and was comforted by the fact that he had done so.

The memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.

LOUISE ANNA BOUCHER
October 24, 1945 ~ July 13, 2022 (Age 76)

Lancaster - Louise Anna (Savoie) Boucher, 76, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Born on October 24,1945 in Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of Emilie and Flora (Doucet) Savoie. She grew up in St. Louis, New Brunswick and attended New Brunswick schools. She was a faithful member of St. Cecilia's church and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of St. Cecilia's Parish. She was also a member of the poutine factory of St. Cecilia.

She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Hector Boucher. She also leaves behind 2 sons, Darren Boucher and his wife Kristina of Winchendon and Dean Boucher and his wife Melissa of Lancaster. Along with four grandchildren Koryn Boucher, Gavin Boucher, Dominique Boucher, and Kristina Coleman as well as one great granddaughter Aubree Harlow. She also leaves behind her brother Donald Savoie and his fianceé Germaine Gallant of St. Louis, New Brunswick, Canada and her two nephews Denis and Julien Savioe.

Louise's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel, sewing, painting, setting up her Christmas village, and genealogy. Also she loved attending family gatherings and traveling to Canada to visit her family and spend time at her cottage. She was very proud of her Acadian heritage.

There will be a funeral mass on Friday July 22, 2022 at 11 am at St. Cecilia's Parish, Mechanic St. Leominster, MA. Burial to follow mass at St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
