Elaine Rose Dondero

ELAINE ROSE DONDERO
August 10, 2022 (Age 75)

Leominster - Elaine Rose (Scherer) Dondero, 75, of Leominster passed away August 10, 2022, with her loving husband, Richie by her side in the Sterling Village Nursing Home. She is the daughter of the late Frank W Scherer and Louise (Rose) Scherer.

Elaine leaves sons, Richard Dondero and wife Kim, Jonathan Dondero and wife, Camie. She is predeceased by her son, Michael. She leaves her three grandchildren, Cole, Mia, and Ava and her cat, Black Jack.

She is also predeceased by her brother Jack Scherer, and leaves his wife Judith, currently of Winchendon. She also leaves behind her brother, Frank Scherer and wife Yvonne, of Stow; Sister, Susan Strobel and husband Eddie; Janet Poultney and husband, Ralph; Fred Scherer and wife Anna, of Marston Mills; Diane Tenen and husband David, of Lancaster; a close family friend, Laurie Ramos, living in Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

Elaine was a 1965 graduate of Leominster High School and graduate of Chandler School for Women.

Elaine spent several years enjoying her children and later worked with her husband in their family business, Dondero Realty. Elaine worked for several years in various positions at Digital Credit Union in the Loan Division.

Elaine loved her time spent in Maine at the ocean with her husband Richie and her grandchildren in their mobile home in Wells. She loved working in her flower garden and watching the birds coming in and out of their bird houses. She enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music and especially attending her son, Ricky's gigs.

She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church.

Calling hours are Monday, August 15th from 4pm- 7pm at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St. A memorial service will follow. A private burial will be held at a later date. Brenda M. Codding

BRENDA M. "BUNNI" CODDING
September 16, 1940 ~ August 7, 2022 (Age 81)

Westminster - Brenda "Bunni" M. (Marshall) Codding, 81, of Westminster, MA, died peacefully on August 7, 2022, with her two children by her side.

Brenda was born in Peabody, MA on September 16, 1940, daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Silveria) Marshall. She was a 1958 graduate of Leominster High School and went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1962. Bunni worked as a physical therapist for many years.

She was a longstanding member of the Woman's Club of Westminster and often volunteered for the Town of Westminster voting polls and Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Bunni loved the beach and being outdoors. Two of her most memorable hikes were to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the top of Mount Washington. She also enjoyed working in her garden, traveling with friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

Bunni is survived by her son, Stephen Stewart and his wife, Cyndee of San Diego, CA; daughter, Kimberly Buckler and her husband, Kevin of Winchendon, MA; two granddaughters, Samantha and Elaina Buckler; and sister, Roberta "Bobbi" Wheless and her husband, Bill of Greenville, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Laura Grant.

Private services will be held at a later date.
