Margarita M. Lamorie

MARGARITA M. LAMORIE
September 18, 1937 ~ October 2, 2022 (Age 85)

Winchendon, MA - Margarita M. Lamorie, 85, died Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Heywood Hospital after an illness.

She was the wife of the late Marshall E. Lamorie, who died on July 8, 2009.

Margarita leaves two sons, Carlito Marcial in Las Vegas, Nevada and Antonio Marcial and his wife Lilibeth of Winchendon; two daughters, Pacita Javien and her husband Marcelo in Winchendon and Crisabeth Shearer and her husband Joshua of Heath, MA; thirteen grandchildren, Xian Jayden Marcial, Maria Mae Javien , Theresa Javien , Kathlien Javien, Kathlena Javien, Christine Mae Marcial, Chriza Mae Marcial, Christian Carl Marcial, Nathalie Espejo, Danilo Estrella Jr., Edwin Estrella and Zoey Mae Shearer.

She was born in Manila, Philippines, on September 18, 1937. She worked in several nursing homes in Greenfield. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFS in Shelburne Falls. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. They took weekend trips and enjoyed going out to different restaurants. They traveled to many different states and countries.

Margarita was a very friendly lady who enjoyed people.

She was very helpful in assisting her family to come to the United States.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00 - 9:00 pm. In the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.

There will be a prayer service held at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Her burial will be on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the West Branch Cemetery, Colrain, MA.

Mark S. Woodard

MARK S. WOODARD
July 17, 1955 ~ October 3, 2022 (Age 67)

Winchendon- Mark S. "Woody" Woodard, 67, died Monday, October 3, 2022 peacefully at home.

He was born in Gardner, MA on July 17, 1955, a son of the late Ralph Woodard and Virginia (Dushion) Woodard.

Mark grew up in Winchendon, MA and Orange, MA, he graduated from Murdock High School with the Class of 1973.

Mark worked at the Templeton Developmental Center for many years and was beloved by the clients.

Mark enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid softball player. For years he could be found on the field as a star 3rd baseman playing for Gardner City League, along with leagues in Winchendon, Templeton and Athol, where he made many life long friends. Mark also enjoyed golf, playing cards and was a cribbage champion. He didn't like to lose, not even to his grandchildren. Mark could make anyone laugh and was known for his quick one liners. He was New England's biggest Cleveland Browns fan. He coached for Winchendon Little League for several years when his boys were younger.

He leaves his wife of 46 years, Susan (Divoll) Woodard; three sons, Eric Woodard and his wife Sylvia of Medway, MA, Ryan Woodard and his wife Beth of Fitzwilliam, NH, Bret Woodard of Portland, ME; a brother, Brent Woodard of Fitzwilliam, NH; a sister, Paula Gallegos and her husband Bill of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Kaila, Trevor, Lillian and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Gardner Fish and Gun Club, 538 Clark Street, Gardner, MA 01440 Please come and share your favorite memories of Mark with his family and friends. We will also have the Pats vs Browns game on.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mark's memory to the American Cancer Society.
