Monadnock Film Festival Partners with Park Theatre To Debut New David Bowie Documentary

JAFFREY, New Hampshire (October 3, 2022). The Monadnock International Film Festival (MONIFF) has partnered with The Park Theatre in Jaffrey to present the critically acclaimed new David Bowie documentary, Moonage Daydream. The film screens for a week starting this Friday, October 7. The opening night will include a Bowie/Glam attire contest, 70s DJ, free finger foods, prizes, cash bar, and more. The event begins at 5:30 p.m., and the film screens at 7:00 p.m.

Moonage Daydream is a cinematic odyssey exploring David Bowie's creative and musical journey from visionary (and Oscar® nominated) filmmaker Brett Morgen (Jane, The Kid Stays in the Picture, Chicago 10). The film was sanctioned by the Bowie estate. Five years in the making and featuring never-before-seen footage.

The film plays at 7:00 p.m. nightly (except Monday) in the 27-foot wide screen, 17-speaker surround sound, 333-seat Eppes Auditorium at The Park Theatre from October 7-13. There is also a matinee on Saturday, October 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets for Moonage Daydream are $9 and $8. They can be purchased in advance by visiting theparktheatre.org or calling the box office (603) 532-8888. Admission is free for MONIFF 2022 pass holders.

This Weekend at Nova Arts

Saturday, October 8, Nova Arts is putting together a Fall Fest featuring performances by Lady Lamb, with Pete Bernard (of the Devil Makes Three), and Sierra D'amours also playing, with a special reading and book release by Henry Walters. Lady Lamb is the stage name of singer, songwriter and producer Aly Spaltro, and she has been writing and performing incredible songs for the past 15 years, originally out of Maine, but now residing in Brooklyn NY. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. with music following soon after. Nova Arts is located at 48 Emerald St., Keene, NH.
