Kathy Ann Lingo

KATHY ANN LINGO
April 10, 1953 ~ November 16, 2022 (Age 69)

Winchendon--Kathy Ann (Skehan) Lingo, 69, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at her home after a long illness.

She leaves her husband, George H. Allen; one son, Anthony James Lingo of Winchendon; one daughter Kelly A. Coon and her wife Katrinia Gomez of Athol; three grandchildren, Keyeanna Lingo of Winchendon, Mila Rose Gomes and Prudence Grace Gomez both of Athol; one sister, Sr. Carol Skehan MPV of Rutland and one nephew Thomas James Skehan of Albuquerque, NM

Kathy is predeceased by a son, Charles Coon Jr and a sister, Patricia A Skehan Johnson.

She was born on April 10, 1953 a daughter of the late Thomas and Marguerite (Guay) Shehan. She worked as a self employed seamstress.

Kathy enjoyed knitting, crocheting and all kinds of crafts. She was a true animal lover and had two dogs and a cat. She also enjoyed living a simple and quiet life. Her family meant everything to her. Kathy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 19th in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.

Allen T. Laprise

ALLEN T. LAPRISE
October 22, 1959 ~ November 17, 2022 (Age 63)

WINCHENDON - Allen T. Laprise, loving son and brother died after a long illness and battle with lung disease Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his home.

Born on October 22, 1959, the son of late Jean B. Laprise and Elizabeth (Plante) Laprise, he resided in Winchendon for most of his life. He lived in Hawaii and California in his younger years and greatly enjoyed that part of his life.

Allen leaves behind his mother Elizabeth Laprise of Townsend, brothers Jean Laprise of Winchendon and Paul Laprise of Winchendon, sisters Katharine Wall of Kennebunk, ME and Christine Roy of Townsend and several nieces and nephews.

He held a variety of jobs over the years, from working for a moving company and tree cutting service in California to painting and construction work. He built a beautiful Post & Beam Barn and hoped to live there one day.

Allen lived a simple life, loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

He enjoyed camping, hiking, playing his guitar, karate, and travel. He had a kind heart and will be greatly missed.

Memorial Donations may be made to COPD or Alpha-1 foundation.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Deborah Swass

DEBORAH SWASS
December 1, 1956 ~ November 19, 2022 (Age 65)

Franklin, NH - Deborah Swass, 65, of Franklin, NH, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Granite VNA Hospice House in the company of her loving friends following a brief, aggressive illness.

Born on December 1, 1956 in Leominster, MA, she was the second daughter of Anna (Liberatore) Lagoy of Myrtle Beach, SC and the late Russell Lagoy.

Deb treasured her relationships, frequently warming hearts with gifts and gestures of care, and she made fast friends wherever she went. She worked for many years as a caretaker, most recently with Granite VNA. She was a tremendous cook and enjoyed making crafts, knitting and crocheting, as well as gift giving - especially to her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her endless love, passion, loyalty, incredible work ethic, enormous heart, and for always going out of her way to lend a hand, her time, and a piece of her heart.

Besides her father, Deb was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Lagoy.

She is survived by her daughters, Anna Cloutier and her husband Jesse of Cornish, NH and Kristin Vincent and her husband Timothy of Franklin, NH, her eight siblings, Denise Cleveland of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert Lagoy and his wife Debbie of Swansey, NH, Michelle Lagoy of Fitchburg, MA, Kenneth Lagoy and his wife Debbie of Winchendon, MA, John Lagoy and his wife Linda of Fitchburg, MA, Kathy Aker and her husband Gary of Athol, MA, Lisa Boulay and her husband Ronnie of Fitchburg, MA, Christine Kherallah and her husband Ami of Fitchburg, MA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Cade and Vivian, who were the light of her life.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 1PM-3PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:30PM at Christ the King Parish, 72 S. Main Street, Concord, NH. Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11am at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fitchburg, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization Deb supported for many years, or to Granite VNA, where Deb was blessed to be able to spend many days right up to the end of her life with her close friends and colleagues.
