Therese M. (Bourque) Gustafson, 97, of Winchendon, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Broadview Assisted Living in Winchendon, following a period of declining health.

Born in Gardner on July 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late David and Eugenie (Roy) Bourque. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1946 and continued her education at Fitchburg State College. She devoted 33 years of dedicated service to the City of Gardner as Assistant City Treasurer, retiring in 1990.

Teri was a devoted parishioner of Annunciation Parish in Gardner and remained actively involved in many organizations throughout her life. She was a longtime member of the Gardner Bridge Club, the American Contract Bridge League, and the Gardner Golden Agers, where she proudly served as Vice President. She also generously volunteered her time for many years at Heywood Hospital and with the Gardner Chapter of AARP. Teri enjoyed an active lifestyle, especially playing golf and traveling. Above all, her greatest joy was her family-she cherished the many memories made together and the laughter they shared over the years. She was also fondly known for enjoying a glass of wine or two at the end of the evening.

Teri is survived by her three daughters, Suzanne Mazur of North Providence, RI, Christine Bielak and her husband Stanley of Westminster, and Rose Marie McKenzie and her husband Kevin of Largo, FL; her stepchildren, Thomas R. Gustafson and his wife Yvette of Gardner, David R. Gustafson and his wife Diane of New Braintree, and Ann Mitus and her husband Paul of Gilbertville; six grandchildren, Jennifer Roach, Matthew Bielak and his wife Lisa, Marc Bielak and his wife Paula, Eric McKenzie and his wife Cari , Brian McKenzie and his wife Autumn, and Heather McKenzie; ten great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, and nephews; and her extended Canu family.

    Donald F. Gravel

    DONALD F. GRAVEL
    January 28, 1941 ~ January 19, 2026 (Age 84)

With sorrow, we announce the passing of Donald Francis Gravel, who left us on January 19, 2026, just short of his 85th birthday. Born in Winchendon, MA, on January 28, 1941, to the late George and Evelyn Gravel, Donald was an individual of great strength and character. He resided in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, where he lived a full and happy life. He was an accomplished woodworker in the furniture manufacturing business until his retirement, and his love for his craft extended into his personal life as one of his cherished hobbies.

Donald was a man who loved the outdoors, often found fishing or hosting cookouts for his family. His greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored. Donald leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Gravel; his children, Donald Jr., Donna (Mike) Devlin, and Tammy (Lee) Mangos; his grandchildren, Frankie Martin, Kevin Martin, Christine Devlin, Nathan Devlin, Amber Donlon, and Erin Mayer; several great-grandchildren, his siblings, Richard Gravel and Mary Grant, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by one sister and four brothers.

We remember Donald as a devoted family man, a skilled craftsman, and a lover of life. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Donald's life will be private at a later date. We invite friends and family to visit the memorial page, where you can share memories and upload photos in honor of Donald's life.

    Funeral services will be private.

    Jonathan Flagg

    JONATHAN "JON" FLAGG
    September 6, 1952 ~ January 26, 2026 (Age 73)

Jonathan G. Flagg, 73, a lifelong resident of Rindge, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer.

'Jon' was born in Winchendon, MA on September 6, 1952, a son of the late Sydney R. and Dorothy A. (Gates) Flagg. He was educated locally and graduated with the Class of 1972 from Conant High School in Jaffrey.

Jon's roots have always been in Rindge, he worked for the Town's Highway Department as an Equipment Operator for 3 years before taking that experience with him to the State of NH DOT. Through his 35 years there, Jon rose through the ranks with the State, from working as a laborer, a grader operator, truck driver, assistant patrolman, and finally retiring as patrolman in 2008. While working locally, he was also able to fulfill his desire to help neighbors in need by volunteering with the Rindge Fire Department and the Meadowood County Area Fire Department in Fitzwilliam. He had served as a Forest Fire Warden for 25 years and had served as Deputy Chief and Interim Chief for the Town of Rindge, from 1998 to 2000.

In 1991, he started Jon's Tractor Service, while also helping his friend George Peck with his construction business. Jon continued his own business doing landscaping, gardening, excavation, trucking material, mowing fields, and rototilling gardens in the area right up until his illness prevented him from working.

He always enjoyed his Mack Trucks and heavy construction equipment, and after his retirement was able to continue plowing and salting the roads as a hired contractor for NH DOT. People who knew Jon recognized when his excitement was growing just before a big Nor'easter was forecast to arrive. During his 'retirement', Jon had also served as the Road Agent for the Town of Sharon from 2011 to 2016

If you asked Jon, he would always say his greatest accomplishments were his loving family and Jon's Tractor Service. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Diane L. Flagg of Rindge, his two daughters, Kathy L. Flagg and Linda M. Flagg, both of Rindge, his sister, Susan Frederickson Collis of Bradenton, FL, one grandchild, a niece, a nephew, and many cousins and close friends, as well as his beloved cat Jack.

Family and friends are warmly invited to Calling Hours on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452.

A Fire Department Walkthrough will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, beginning at 1:30PM in the Rindge Congregational Church, 6 Payson Hill Road, Rindge, NH 03461. Jon's Funeral Service will take place in the church immediately following the walkthrough.

In lieu of flowers, and because of the winter conditions, please consider making a memorial contribution in Jon's name to either the Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance, PO Box 107, Jaffrey, NH 03452, or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Inc.
