GEORGE H. COLLINS
May 8, 1947 ~ June 2, 2022 (Age 75)

WINCHENDON - George H. Collins Jr. 75, died Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Heywood Hospital after an illness.

He leaves two sons, George Collins of Manchester, NH and Joseph Collins of Winchendon; two daughters, Christine Collins of Winchendon and Tammy Collins of Lunenburg; ten grandchildren, Misty Collins, Haley Collins, Alyssa Hamel, Tiffany Collins, Emily Watson, Joseph Collins, Jr, Ashley Watson, Destini Avant, Tristan Smith and Connor Smith; two great-grandchildren, Kaylini Moore and Stacey Stallings; one brother, Charlie Collins; three sisters, Donna LaFleur of Fitchburg, Patricia Johnson of Fl and Arlene Therrien of Winchendon.

He is predeceased by two sisters, Claire Conrand and Georgia Moon.

George was born in Gardner, on May 8, 1947 a son of the late George H. Sr. and Evelyn (Sentabar) Collins. He attended school in Ashburnham and worked various jobs.

He was a former member of the Ashburnham Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed playing Guitar, singing and country music.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 12 noon to 4 PM at the American Legion in Winchendon.

MARY DEAN
January 31, 1940 ~ June 2, 2022 (Age 82)

Leominster - Mary Dean, 82, of Leominster, died June 2, 2022 in UMass Medical Center Worcester, after a brief illness. She was born in Fitchburg, January 31, 1940, daughter of the late James and Esther (Colson) Hancock. Mary had worked as a bartender at the former Tinkem's Bar in Leominster for many years.

Mary is survived by one son; Randy McDowell of Leominster, two daughters; Pamela McDowell of Leominster and Donna Dean of Vermont, one brother; Morris Brassard of Berlin, MA and three sisters; Sandy Fortin of Fitchburg, Sharon Ingemie of Winchendon and Dorothy Tuttle of Fitchburg, along with many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three sons; Keith McDowell, John McDowell and Roger McDowell and two daughters; Faith McDowell and Debra Dean.

AIMEE T. LAPOINTE
June 23, 1978 ~ June 6, 2022 (Age 43)

JAFFREY, NH - Aimee T. LaPointe, 43, of Jaffrey, died Monday evening, June 6, 2022 in Rindge, NH.

She was born in Peterborough, NH on June 23, 1978, daughter of Ricky T. and Kimberly (Jackson) LaPointe of Fitzwilliam, NH, and grew up mostly in Winchendon. Aimee attended Murdock High School.

Aimee had worked at Simplex Time Recorder as an assembler and also worked with her father doing landscaping. She was very outgoing and independent. An animal lover, she enjoyed the company of her cat Maddie. An avid fan of the New England Patriots, Aimee also enjoyed spending time at the beach. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she leaves a son, Dakota Girard of Winchendon; a sister, Kristen Johnson and husband Eddie of Winchendon, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Theresa C. Shetrawski

THERESA C. SHETRAWSKI
February 20, 1947 ~ June 3, 2022 (Age 75)

WINCHENDON - Theresa C. (St. Pierre) Shetrawski, 75, of Winchendon, formerly of Fitchburg, died peacefully Friday afternoon, June 3, 2022 at her residence, with her family at her side.

She was born in Fitchburg on February 20, 1947, daughter of the late Joseph and Millie (LeBlanc) St. Pierre. She grew up in Fitchburg and was a graduate of St. Bernard's High School. She and her husband returned to this area in March, 2018, after living in Florida for 21 years and North Carolina for 7 years.

During the years living out of state, Theresa worked in accounting at Leesburg Community College, Leesburg, FL and at BB and T in Murphy, NC. She enjoyed boating as well as spending time with the family.

She leaves her husband of 54 years, Tony Shetrawski; two sisters, Barbara Hallowell of Ashburnham and Laura Poat of New Ipswich, NH and three grandchildren, Justin Shetrawski and Brandon Shetrawski of Lady Lake, FL and Donna Davis of Daytona Beach, FL, as well as a niece, Katie Hallowell of Kittery, ME. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Michael Shetrawski, who died in 2018 and David Shetrawski, who died in 1993.

Graveside services will be private.

John M. Padron

JOHN M. PADRON
January 12, 1971 ~ June 4, 2022 (Age 51)

RINDGE, NEW HAMPSHIRE - John M. Padron, 51 of Rindge, died Saturday, June 4, 2022 at UMASS Hospital in Worcester. He was born in Syracuse, New York on January 12, 1971. He is survived by his mother Rita (Peters) Padron of Winchendon, formerly of Syracuse, New York, one daughter Eliza DeLandy of Winchendon, his sister Anne Marie Padron of Winchendon, formerly of Syracuse, New York, and his four cousins Maria Shurant, Cheryl Brusa, Michele Burchill, and Erin Shurant.

John attended St. Vincent DePaul grammar school in Syracuse, New York. He was a graduate of Henninger High School in Syracuse, New York. John joined the Army in 1995 and later became a mason for over 10 years. He was a part of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen Union Local 3.

John was a WWII Enthusiast and loved motorcycles. He was an active member of the motorcycle group, Hell's Angels of Lowell, Massachusetts. John also enjoyed hiking and fishing and had an outstanding hobby collection of knives.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.

Rachel C. Croteau

RACHEL C. CROTEAU
May 14, 1932 ~ June 7, 2022 (Age 90)

Rachel Cecile Croteau, of Fitchburg MA, who recently celebrated her 90th birthday on May 14, passed away peacefully of natural causes on June 7, 2022, in the loving arms of Andre Wilfred Croteau, her husband of 70 years. She was a fun loving and caring mother of 12 children, 29 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Her children and spouses all survived her are Diane and Mike Selman of Buda TX, Gerry and Deb Croteau of Lunenburg MA, Elaine and Tom Ray of Winchendon MA, Ray and Laurie Croteau of Lunenburg MA, Bob and Karen Croteau of Leominster MA, Anne and Shawn Conroy of Fitchburg MA, Denise and Michael Pawelski of Fitchburg, MA, Louise and Steve Hamel of Orange MA, Alice and Kevin Cleary of Fitchburg MA, Jim and Alicia of Brookline NH, Susan and Jim Maguire of Westminster MA and Theresa and Larry Sparks of Signal Mountain, TN. She is also survived by her sisters, Jackie Bourgault of Leominster, Connie Niles of Fitchburg, Pauline Belliveau of Leominster, Dolores Cordio of Leominster and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was the daughter of Camille and Florence Belliveau who pre-deceased her.

Rachel lived a full and spiritual life and enjoy riding her motorcycle, crocheting afghans, sewing baptismal robes for St. Joseph's parish, the parish where she met her husband many years ago in the church choir. She worked several jobs later in life at IC Credit Union, Worcester North Bank and finally Birchwood Manor Adult Day Care. She attended Diaconate school in Worcester with her husband and was by his side when he became a Deacon in June of 1979. She volunteered her time for St. Joseph's parish as Catholic Marriage Counselor, Catholic PMI Preparation for Marriage counselor, Eucharist minister, CYC Chaperon, and CCD teacher and also Co-Chairman of the Annual Bazaar Football booth. In recent years she was a member of Our Lady of the Lake in Leominster. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends but she will be going home to God and the Virgin Mary whom she loved both so very much.

Calling hours are 3 - 5 pm at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg, MA on Sunday, June 12. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 13 at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster MA at 11:00 am. A Private burial service will be held at the Winchendon Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Seth F. Braun

SETH F. BRAUN
June 12, 1991 ~ June 4, 2022 (Age 30)

BALDWINVILLE - Seth F. Braun, 30, of Baldwinville, died Saturday, June 4, 2022 in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital.

He was born in Fitchburg on June 12, 1991, son of Ellen L. Braun of Baldwinville and the late James R. Braun Sr. Seth was a 2009 graduate of Narragansett Regional High School, where he played football, baseball and basketball and was captain of its football team during his junior and senior years. He was also a recipient of the Bob Bean Award.

Seth grew up in Templeton and loved golf, playing cribbage and was a huge animal lover, especially his late black labrador retriever Daisy. He enjoyed spending summers on Lake Monomonac, where he enjoyed boating, fishing and swimming. He had worked as a cook in various local restaurants. Seth was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics.

In addition to his mother, her leaves his grandparents, Don and Betsey E. (Ladeau) Easterbrooks of The Villages, FL and a nephew, James R. Braun 3rd, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 5 to 8 P.M. in The Snow Bound Club, 130 Baldwinville Road, Winchendon, MA 01475.

Elaine M. Keleher

ELAINE M. KELEHER
May 27, 1925 ~ February 17, 2022 (Age 96)

Elaine M. Keleher, 96, of Warminster, PA, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022.

Elaine was born to the late Edwin Newton and Helene (Goyette) Newton in Worcester, MA on May 27, 1925. She lived in Worcester and Winchendon, MA before moving to Washington, D.C. during World War II to work on behalf of the war effort. It was there that she met her beloved husband, Edwin Keleher. They were married for 57 years until Edwin's death in 2005.

Elaine lived in Radnor, PA for 60 years and was active in St. Katharine of Siena Parish as well as numerous charities and organizations including the Girl Scouts and Meals on Wheels. She loved spending time with her family and friends, travelling, reading, and playing bridge.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Sarosky of Furlong, PA, her grandchildren Sharon Fry (husband Kyle) of Bedford, NY, and David Sarosky of Bridgeport, PA, and her great-grandchildren John and William Fry of Bedford, NY. In addition to her husband, Elaine was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Newton.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11 AM in Calvary Cemetery, Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
